These are the new lands coming to Disney parks in the next 5 years that have been announced so far. More could be added to this list at any point. These lands are going to The Disneyland Resort in California and The Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Villains Land
Magic Kingdom in Disney World is going to be getting a whole new Villains Land. Its location will be beyond Big Thunder aka behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This land is expected to have two major attractions, shopping, and dining. One of the attractions is rumored to be a roller coaster, but there is no official word on what they are yet.
Piston Peak Cars Land
Magic Kingdom is getting another new land called Piston Peak National Park, which is a land inspired by the Pixar Cars movies. This will be different than Cars Land in California. The Rivers of America in Frontierland permanently closed to make room for the new Cars Land. It will feature two attractions. One which will be family friendly and one that will be faster and more thrilling.
Avatar Land in California
An Avatar inspired land is coming to California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort. It will be inspired by Avatar: The Way of Water and upcoming Avatar films. The attraction Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue is closing permanently to make room for the new Avatar land.
Monsters, Inc. Land
Hollywood Studios closed Muppets Courtyard to put in a new land which will be a Monsters, Inc. land inspired by the Pixar movies. It will have a suspension roller coaster, which is the first of its kind at Disney World. This new land will also have dining, shopping, and character meets. Tropical Americas Land
An all-new Tropical Americas land is coming to Animal Kingdom in the next few years. It will feature an Encanto ride, an Indiana Jones ride different than the one at Disneyland, a carousel, and more. DinoLand USA is closing permanently in early 2026 and that is where this new land will go. Read about the upcoming permanent closures here.
Avengers Campus Expansion
California Adventure park has had Avengers Campus for some time now, so this is not a new land, but it is getting a major expansion that will come with new attractions called Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. Construction is already underway for this expansion.
Disneyland Forward
Disneyland Forward is the plans to develop more of Disneyland and add more theme parks and lands. It is unknown what exactly would be added, but if Disneyland Forward goes through there will be a lot of new lands and attractions at The Disneyland Resort.
