These are all of the new rides coming to Disney parks in America. This includes The Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World in Florida. Disney announced all of these rides and has confirmed that they are happening over the next few years. Unfortunately, other rides have had to close to make room for them.
Indiana Jones Attraction
Animal Kingdom park in Disney World will be getting a new Indiana Jones ride. The ride is expected to open in 2027. It will be in a new Tropical Americas land that is replacing Dinoland. It is supposed to be similar to Indiana Jones Adventure in Disneyland in California.
Encanto Attraction
Animal Kingdom’s Tropical Americas land will also be getting a new Encanto themed attraction. This will be for guests of all ages, which is great since a lot of kids love the Encanto movie. An opening date has not been announced, but it is expected to open around 2027.
Tropical Americas Carousel
Animal Kingdom will also be getting a new carousel in Tropical Americas that will probably open in 2027. The concept art that Disney released of it shows Disney characters you can ride on like Eeyore, Kevin, Timon, and Pumba.
Monsters, Inc. Suspension Roller Coaster
Hollywood Studios park in Disney World is replacing Muppets Courtyard with a new Monsters, Inc. Land. It’s going to have a suspension roller coaster, which will be the first of its kind in any Disney park. It will take you through the scene in the movie where Boo, Mike, & Sulley are riding on doors trying to get away from Randall.
Muppets Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
This is not a completely new ride, but Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios is going to be changing from having its Aerosmith theme to a Muppets theme. This comes at a good time since Muppets Courtyard is closing.
Villains Land
Magic Kingdom is going to be getting a Villains Land. It will have attractions, dining, and shopping. Disney has announced that it will have two attractions, but they have not said what they will be like at all. They also have not announced when we can expect this new land to open.
Two Pixar Cars Attractions
Frontierland in Magic Kingdom will be replacing the Rivers of America with two new Cars rides. One is expected to be calm and family-friendly. The other is supposed to be more thrilling and intense. Construction is supposed to begin in 2025.
Coco Attraction
A new Pixar Coco attraction is coming to California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in California. Construction is expected to start in 2026. It’s going to be a water boat ride with the amazing music from the movie. It is unclear where in the park this ride will be.
Two New Avengers Rides
Avengers Campus in California Adventure park is getting a big expansion with two new attractions. One will be called Avengers Infinity Defense and the other is Stark Flight Lab. They closed the Red Car Trolley to make room for this expansion.
World of Pandora
Disney World has an Avatar Land in Animal Kingdom and now Disneyland will be getting an Avatar Land in California Adventure park called World of Pandora. It will have new attractions, but it is unknown what they will be.
