Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland – 77 Feet
Sleeping Beauty Castle is 77 feet tall and is the shortest Disney castle in the world. Opening in Anaheim California in 1955, it is the very first Disney castle ever built.

Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant at Disneyland Paris – 164 Feet
The Disneyland Paris Castle is the next tallest one and it’s a lot taller than the last one. Its height is 164 feet tall. The official name of this castle is Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant.
Beneath the castle is La Tanière du Dragon, which is a dragon’s lair that features a 79 foot long animatronic dragon. It’s usually sleeping and snoring until guests get too close.
Castle of Magical Dreams at Hong Kong Disneyland – 167 Feet
The Hong Kong Disneyland Castle used to be 77 feet tall and looked just like the Disneyland Castle is California. It was the first castle to be built on top of an existing Disney castle.
It underwent transformation in 2020 and is now 167 feet tall. It’s now called the Castle of Magical Dreams.

Cinderella Castle at Tokyo Disneyland – 167 Feet
The Tokyo Disneyland Castle is also 167 feet tall, like Hong Kong’s castle. It is also Cinderella’s Castle. This is the first Disney castle to be built outside the United States when the park opened in 1983.
It was modeled after Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. The castle also contains Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall. This is where guests can walk through rooms featuring paintings, dioramas, the throne room, and Cinderella’s glass slipper.
Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom – 189 Feet
The Disney World Castle is Cinderella’s Castle and it can be found in Magic Kingdom park. It is 189 feet tall and absolutely stunning. It feels so much larger than the Disneyland Castle in California.
This was the first castle designed with a permanent stage in front of it, which helped make it a centerpiece for live shows and nighttime entertainment.

Enchanted Storybook Castle at Shanghai Disneyland – 197 Feet
The Shanghai Disneyland Castle is the tallest of the six Disney Castles around the world. It stands at a towering 197 feet tall. It is called The Enchanted Storybook Castle. It has a very unique design and is not identical to the other castles.
It is the largest Disney castle ever built and was the first Disney castle designed to represent all Disney Princesses and Queens, rather than just one character or story.
