These are all of the permanent closures that happened at Disney parks in the first half of 2025. There have been a lot of Walt Disney World and there was one at Disneyland too. These closures happened to make room for new lands and new rides coming to the theme parks.

Muppets Courtyard

Muppets Courtyard was an area in Hollywood Studios park in Walt Disney World in Florida. This whole land closed on June 8, 2025 to make room for a new Monsters, Inc. Land.

Muppet*Vision 3D

Muppet*Vision 3D closed on June 8, 2025. This was a Muppets themed attraction in Hollywood Studios. Fans of the Muppets are sad about the closure. Thankfully this park will be getting a new Muppets themed ride when Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster gets rethemed to Muppets.

It’s Tough To Be A Bug was an attraction themed from the movie A Bug’s Life. It was located in Animal Kingdom and closed permanently on March 17th. It closed to make room for a new show called Zootopia: Better Together.
