Walt Disney World in Florida is home to so many amazing attractions. There are still a lot from when the park opened, but Disney is constantly adding new rides to the parks. These are the newest rides at Disney World.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Tiana’s Bayou is the newest ride in all of Disney World. It opened June 28, 2024 in Magic Kingdom. This ride is also in Disneyland. You can see a list of all the rides in both Disneyland and Disney World here.
Tron Lightcycle Run
Tron Lightcycle Run opened in Magic Kingdom on April 3, 2023. It has a top speed of 60 mph, making it tie for 2nd place for the fastest ride at Disney World. You can see all of the fastest Disney World rides here.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opened on May 27, 2022. It is located in EPCOT and is a really popular thrill ride in this park.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure made its debut on October 1, 2021. It is a trackless ride located in EPCOT that is still drawing in long wait times even years after opening.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opened March 4, 2020 in Hollywood Studios. It is another trackless ride and it replaced The Great Movie Ride. It’s one of the most fun rides in Disney World and is so iconic with its Mickey Mouse theme.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opened on December 5, 2019 in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios. It’s a really fun ride with a great Star Wars theme where you’re fighting against Kylo Ren and the dark side.
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Fun opened August 29, 2019, which was the day that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in Hollywood Studios.

Slinky Dog Dash opened in Hollywood Studios on June 30, 2018. This was the day that Toy Story Land opened.
Alien Swirling Saucers
Alien Swirling Saucers also opened on the day Toy Story Land opened, June 30, 2018. It’s a spinning ride that children love.
Na’vi River Journey
Na’vi River Journey opened May 27, 2017, which was the day that the Pandora land in Animal Kingdom opened. It’s a water boat ride that is Avatar themed. You can see all of the Disney World water rides here.

Avatar Flight of Passage also opened when Pandora opened on May 27, 2017. It’s a 3D simulator attraction.
Frozen Ever After
Frozen Ever After opened on June 21, 2016. It’s a boat ride in EPCOT in the Norway Pavilion that tells the story of the Frozen movie.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a Fantasyland ride in Magic Kingdom that opened up on May 28, 2014. It’s a Snow White themed steel roller coaster.
