20 Rides That Are At Both Disneyland and Disney World

Disneyland in California and Disney World in Florida each have a lot of unique attractions that you can only find in those parks. There is some overlap with the rides though. This list has all of the rides that are at both Disneyland and Disney World.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a super fun mine train roller coaster in Frontierland at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom in Disney World.

Dumbo The Flying Elephant

Dumbo the Flying Elephant is in Fantasyland in Disneyland and in Magic Kingdom. The differences in these rides are that at Disney World there is a play area in the ride queue and Disney World has two Dumbo rides.

Haunted Mansion

The Haunted Mansion is in Disneyland and in Magic Kingdom. The rides are very similar, but not 100% the same. The rides look different from the outside and the Disney World version is a little longer with some extra scenes you don’t see at Disneyland.

It’s A Small World

It’s A Small World is in Magic Kingdom and in Disneyland in Fantasyland. The rides look different from the outside with Disneyland’s having a more elaborate structure. The Disneyland one is also longer and everything is not in the same order in the two rides.

Jungle Cruise

The Jungle Cruise is another ride that is found at both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom park. They are very similar, but the Magic Kingdom version turns into the Jingle Cruise at Christmastime and Disneyland does not do this.

The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure

The Disneyland Little Mermaid ride is longer, but the Disney World ride has a cooler exterior. The names are also a little different. At Disneyland it’s called The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and at Disney World it’s called Under The Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid.

Mad Tea Party

Mad Tea Party is found in Disneyland and in Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom version is covered and the Disneyland version is uncovered. This is so the ride can still operate in Florida when it rains.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a ride in Toontown at Disneyland and in Hollywood Studios in Disney World. The ride queue is better at Disneyland with tons of Mickey Mouse memorabilia. The train cars are also a little different on the 2 rides. They had more room to work with in Disneyland since they built the ride from scratch, but in Disney World they converted an existing ride into this one.

Main Street Vehicles

Main Street Vehicles are in Disneyland and in Magic Kingdom. These are vehicles that take you down Main Street, USA between the railroad and the castle.

Astro Orbitor

Astro Orbitor is a ride in Disneyland and in Magic Kingdom. Most guests like the one at Disney World more because you’re much higher up being 3 stories off the ground.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is in both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. The rides are very similar to each other.

Peter Pan’s Flight

Peter Pan’s Flight is in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom and in Disneyland. They’re very similar with minimal differences. The rides queues are a little different and the Disney World version is about a minute longer.

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run

Smuggler’s Run is in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland and in Hollywood Studios. The rides are very similar to each other.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Rise of the Resistance is another Star Wars ride in Disneyland and Hollywood Studios. The two rides are identical to each other.

Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean is at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom version gets you closer to the pirates and there is a sweet smelling scent.

Soarin’ Around The World

Soarin’ Around the World is a ride at California Adventure park and EPCOT. The rides are the same.

Space Mountain

Space Mountain is in Tomorrowland in Disneyland and Magic Kingdom. The ride vehicles are different with Disneyland having 2 people across and Disney World having one across.

Star Tours

Star Tours is in Disneyland and in Hollywood Studios at Disney World. The rides are the same.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is in Critter Country in Disneyland and in Magic Kingdom. The Disneyland version is a little shorter than the Disney World version.

Toy Story Midway Mania!

Toy Story Midway Mania is a ride at California Adventure and Hollywood Studios in Toy Story Land. The rides are the same, but the line is outdoors in California and indoors in Florida.
