These are all of the loudest rides at Disney World’s four theme parks. If you love loud rides, then you’ll want to go on these. If not, then these are the rides you should consider skipping. Even if you choose to not go on these rides, there are still so many others in the theme parks that you can go on that are quieter.
Haunted Mansion
Haunted Mansion is a dark ride in Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom park. The loudest part of this ride is the stretching room where the Ghost Host is talking and there is some screaming at the end. Another loud part is where you can loudly hear the Grim Grinning Ghosts song. This part is loud, but not scary.
It’s A Small World
It’s A Small World is an iconic attraction in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom park. This is a loud ride because of its signature song that plays at a high volume the entire ride.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Cosmic Rewind
Guardians of the Galaxy – Cosmic Rewind is a fast roller coaster in EPCOT park. The loud parts of this ride are the music and sound effects that you hear all throughout the ride.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is a Buzz Lightyear themed ride in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. There are loud noises throughout this entire ride with the sounds of the blasters and everything on the ride.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a roller coaster in Frontierland in Magic Kingdom park. The sound of the train on the track is loud as well as some sound effects on the attraction.
Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain is a fun roller coaster in Animal Kingdom park. The whole ride is pretty loud, but one of the loudest parts is the Yeti’s roar.
Space Mountain
Space Mountain is a dark roller coaster in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. It’s a pretty loud roller coaster with sound effects that you hear through speakers on the ride vehicle.
Tomorrowland Speedway
Tomorrowland Speedway is a car attraction in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. The ride vehicles are gas powered cars that have very loud engines in them.
Rock n Roller Coaster
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is a super loud roller coaster in Hollywood Studios. It blasts Aerosmith music at a very high volume. This ride is going to change to be Muppets themed. Read about changes coming to Disney rides here.
TRON Lightcycle / Run
TRON Lightcycle / Run is a newer roller coaster in Magic Kingdom. There is loud audio and sound effects in the ride. It’s an enclosed ride, which probably makes it sound louder than it would if it was an outdoor coaster. See all of the newer Disney World rides here.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a cute and fun ride in Hollywood Studios. It has loud music and sounds in the ride, but there are not any certain parts that are overly loud compared to others.
Tower of Terror
Tower of Terror is a drop ride in Hollywood Studios park. It goes super fast and sounds loud, plus people on the ride with you will likely be screaming, which makes it extra loud.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is a ride in Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios. It’s a really loud ride with the loudest parts being the blasters, explosions, and the flight part at the end.
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run is another Star Wars themed ride in Galaxy’s Edge. The loud parts are the explosions, the engine, and some of the action scenes.
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue is another Star Wars themed ride that is in Hollywood Studios. It is a motion simulator attraction with loud action scenes.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a Snow White themed roller coaster in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom. Some of what’s loud on the ride are the ride track, the mine scene with the shovels and clanking, and dialogue from the characters.
Test Track
Test Track is a car attraction in EPCOT park in Disney World. The loudest parts of the ride are when the cars accelerate on the ride track.
Toy Story Mania
Toy Story Mania is a ride in Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios park. There are a lot of loud noises on the ride including balloons popping, targets being hit, and characters talking.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a 4D attraction in the France Pavilion in EPCOT. It is loud in most of the ride with the loudest parts being the kitchen scene, when there are puffs of air, and the final chase scene.
