We’ve all seen some crazy cringey things at Disneyland and maybe even done some cringey things ourselves.
Some of these are things that guests do and others are just things about the parks that I don’t love and feel are cringe-worthy.
In this post I’m going to tell you the cringiest things I’ve seen at Disneyland!
1. Guests Eating On Top Of Trash Cans
I know a lot of Disney adults say they do this, but I think it’s so gross to see people eating on top of a trash can.
They set their food on top of it and stand next to it while eating instead of finding a table to eat at.
I think it’s so unsanitary. I would not enjoy eating on a trash can and having people constantly come over and put their garbage in it.
2. Guests Reciting Lines Loudly
Some people go to Disneyland a lot and have lines from the rides memorized. They have fun reciting them or singing the songs on the rides, but if you’re going to do this, then please do so quietly.
There are often a lot of first timers and people who don’t go often and don’t know the lines, so hearing guests recite them can really ruin the magic and the experience.
One time I was in the Haunted Mansion stretching room and a group of people next to us were very loudly saying the lines of the Ghost Host.
They were so loud with it that you couldn’t hear the ghost host at all.
I have no problem with people singing on it’s a small world though. The music on that ride is so loud that guests singing along won’t ruin the magic for everyone else.

3. Train Tracks On Main Street
There are train tracks down Main Street, USA that make the road uneven and a little hard to navigate, especially if you have a stroller or a wheelchair because the wheels can get stuck in them.
I wish these would go away!
4. Crazy Stroller Drivers
Unfortunately, some people are a little wild with the way they push their strollers around. They sometimes use them to plow through crowds because most people will get out of the way of a stroller.
I will also say, it can be hard to push a stroller around in the big crowds and you do have to get a little assertive at times to get through.
5. Guests Faking Nice To Get Perks
I’ve heard stories of people being nice to cast members and getting perks like being pixie dusted or being escorted to the exit of a ride to skip the line.
It’s super cringey when you see park guests faking nice to cast members in hopes of getting some perks though.
6. Stroller For Storage
I’ve seen some people show up to the parks with a stroller when they don’t have a child who’s stroller age.
Some people are bringing strollers to the parks to use them for storage for food, clothes, souvenirs, etc.
Honestly, I love how my stroller doubles as storage, but the reason I bring a stroller is because I have toddlers who can’t walk around Disneyland all day.
I don’t love when people who don’t need strollers bring them because strollers make the park more crowded and more strollers makes it harder to find stroller parking.
I wish these people would rent a locker and store their belongings there instead. That’s not cringey at all.
7. Restaurant Reservations
I understand why they have restaurant reservations, but it kills any spontaneity you’re going for on your trip when there’s a restaurant you want to eat at and it’s booked out so you can’t get a reservation.
I know you can walk up and try to get a reservation day of, but not knowing for sure if you’ll get in is not fun.
This is definitely something to plan ahead on so you aren’t disappointed during your trip.
8. Restaurant Menu Changes
I love when new additions are added to the restaurants menus and I know they can’t keep every menu item forever, but it’s frustrating when you fall in love with a menu item only to not be able to order it on your next trip.
Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland used to have an Enchanted Cauliflower Sandwich. The first time I got it, it was really fresh and delicious!
On our next trip I got it and it was soggy, not freshly made, and didn’t have the same sauces and toppings on it. Now, you can’t even order that sandwich at all.
9. Guests Not Cleaning Up Their Meals
It’s super uncool when guests eat at quick service restaurants and don’t clean up after themselves.
Table service restaurants will obviously clean up your meal for you, but this is not something to expect at other restaurants, so don’t leave your trays and garbage on the tables when trash cans are available and easy to access.
10. PDA
I know Disney vacations can be romantic, especially certain restaurants and firework shows, but people didn’t come to Disneyland to see couples all over each other.
11. Trying On Clothing
I don’t have a huge problem with guests trying on clothing in the gift shops, but when it’s a hot day and they’re looking sweaty trying on clothes over the clothes they’re wearing it just gives us the biggest ick.
It’s even ickier when they do this and put the clothes back instead of buying them!
Conclusion
There are so many amazing things about Disney parks, but there are also some pretty cringey things going on at the parks.
Some are things guests do and others are things Disneyland does that are out of our control.
