16 Changes At Disney World In November 2025

These are all of the major changes at Walt Disney World in November 2025 that can impact your vacation. It is good to know about these before going to Florida for your trip so that you can plan ahead. This list includes festivals, closures, holidays, a new show, holiday parties, parades, and more. You’ll want to take note of it all so you don’t miss out on any of the magic and fun while you are there.

Holiday Season

The holiday or Christmas season at Disney World starts on November 14th and will go until December 31st. Main Street in Magic Kingdom will be filled with wreaths and Christmas decor, there is a Frozen Holiday Surprise at Cinderella’s Castle, Hollywood Studios gets Christmas decor, Tower of Terror does nightly holiday projections, Toy Story Land is filled with holiday decor, Minnie Mouse does holiday dining at Hollywood & Vine, Animal Kingdom has Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition, and so much more. Jingle Cruise

The Jungle Cruise is a classic attraction located in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom. This ride features elephants, lions, monkeys and many more that you see from a comedic guided boat tour. This attraction is changing from it’s classic version to Jingle Cruise for the holiday season. It will open as Jingle Cruise on November 3rd. It will feature holiday decor and holiday jokes.

Living With The Land – Glimmering Greenhouses

For the holiday season, Living with the Land becomes Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses. It has lights throughout the ride, along with snowmen and other Christmas decor. The ride will return on November 28th and the last day to ride it is December 30th. This boat ride is part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. That’s why it is starting after the official start of the holiday season at Disney World. Do you prefer the classic version or holiday version of this attraction?

New Zootopia Show

Disney’s Animal Kingdom park is getting a new Zootopia show in November. The show is called Zootopia: Better Zoogether! It will be in the Tree of Life Theater. This is where It’s Tough to Be a Bug used to be, but that closed permanently earlier this year. This new show will start on November 7th. It will feature a new character named Heidi Howler and it will also have an animatronic of Benjamin Clawhauser. You will also be able to meet Nick and Judy in their Zootopia 2 outfits on Discovery Island.

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is Ending

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival started at the end of August and is ending soon. The last day to experience this yearly festival is November 22nd. This festival features tons of unique foods and drinks that you can order and try. This festival is loved by many Disney fans and also comes with a lot of entertainment that will be ending as well.

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is Starting

The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is starting at the end of November a few days after the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival ends. It will start on Nov 28th and the last day of the festival will be December 30th. This is a shorter festival than others at EPCOT.

Candlelight Processional Starts

The Candlelight Processional is starting in November. This is in EPCOT park and is part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. This is every night from November 28th through December 30th. It is at 5pm, 6:45pm, and 8:15pm in the America Gardens Theatre at EPCOT. It will include performances by different performers each night. Some of the performers are Jordan Fisher, Constance Wu, Henry Winkler, Ashley Eckstein, and more.

Ratatouille Ride Changes

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a trackless and modern right in the France Pavilion in EPCOT park. It has been a 3D ride ever since it opened in 2021, but Disney made an announcement with a big change. This ride is closing from November 10th through 13th and when it opens again on November 14th it will then be a 2D ride. This means guests will no longer need 3D glasses to enjoy this attraction. Disney has also said that the queue will get new additions in the coming months with new props and lighting. This is one of the most popular rides in EPCOT, so it’s unfortunate it will be down for a few days. Are you excited for this ride to no longer be 3D?

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Is Starting

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is starting in November. This is a separate ticketed event that happens in the evening on select nights from November 7th through December 21, 2025. It is in Magic Kingdom park. There will be festive treats and drinks, Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, characters in holiday attire, dance parties, and so much more. Magic Kingdom will close early on the nights of the event for general admission guests.

Ride Closures

Rides that will be closed for all of the month of November or at least some of it are Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland, Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom, and the Frontierland station of the Walt Disney World Railroad in Magic Kingdom. Other Closures

Things in Disney World that are not rides and will be closed in November are Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Magic Kingdom park, Animation Courtyard in Hollywood Studios, and Blizzard Beach water park. It is unknown when Blizzard Beach will open, but Typhoon Lagoon is currently open. Animation Courtyard is expected to open in 2026 sometime. Mickey’s PhilharMagic will reopen on November 23rd.

Jollywood Nights Starts

Jollywood Nights is another Christmas party at Walt Disney World, but this one is in Hollywood Studios park. This is a separate ticketed event that is 5 hours long and is on select nights from November 8th through December 22, 2025. There will be Disney characters in holiday outfits, a Nightmare Before Christmas sing-a-long in the Hyperion Theater, Disney Holidays in Hollywood, themed entertainment, Jingle Bell Jingle Jam, and so much more. Halloween Foods Are Ending

Most Halloween seasonal food and drinks are ending on October 31st when the Halloween season ends. Some are sticking around a little longer though. Select fall and Halloween menu items will be in the parks and at the resorts through November 13th. Then they will switch over to Christmas and holiday menus on November 14th as the holiday season starts.

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day is on Thursday November 27th this year. Disney World does not do a ton of special things for Thanksgiving Day, but they do some. This is a busy day to go since a lot of people do not have work and school on Thanksgiving and the surrounding days. Some restaurants will serve a special Thanksgiving menu for the holiday. Some restaurants that have in the past are Satu’li Canteen, Tusker House Restaurant, Trattoria al Forno, and Topolino’s Terrace.

Eat To The Beat Concerts Is Ending

Eat to the Beat Concert Series has been going in EPCOT park since August as part of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. That festival is ending in November and so is Eat to the Beat. The last concert will be on November 17th. Some of the performers in November include David Archuleta, Jordin Sparks, Boyz II Men, Bowling For Soup, and The Beach Boys.

Disney Starlight Parade

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is a new parade that debuted in Magic Kingdom over the summer in July. This parade will continue to run in November on select nights. It will not run on the nights of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The Christmas party will have Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade instead. Check the event calendar on the website or in the app for dates and showtimes of this beautiful nighttime parade.
