These are the Disneyland Resort closures that we know about so far for the fall of 2025. They include rides, restaurants, and more. It’s good to know about these closures so that you can prepare for your fall trip to Disneyland and plan out what you will be able to do while there.
Radiator Springs Racers
Radiator Springs Racers is the main attraction in Cars Land in California Adventure. It closed in mid-August and will be reopening on September 26th.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a thrilling roller coaster in Frontierland in Disneyland. It closed at the beginning of September and it is unknown when it will reopen. Hopefully it will open again soon.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Dumbo the Flying Elephant will have a short closure from September 16th through 17th. This is a really cute spinning ride that people of all ages love.
Goofy’s Sky School
Goofy’s Sky School will be closed from September 28th until October 4th. This is a mouse trap style roller coaster in Paradise Gardens Park in California Adventure. If you’ll be in Disneyland this fall, make sure you take a look at the things you need to know if you’re going this fall here.
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Storybook Land Canal Boats closed in July for maintenance and still remains closed. It is unknown when this boat ride attraction will reopen. It is located in Fantasyland in Disneyland.
Casey Jr. Circus Train
Casey Jr. Circus Train is also closed in Fantasyland in Disneyland. It closed at the end of July and a reopening date for it has not yet been announced.
Mark Twain Riverboat
Mark Twain Riverboat is a big steam-powered vessel that sails on the Rivers of America in Frontierland in Disneyland. It is going to have a quick closure from September 8th through 11th.
Sailing Ship Columbia
Sailing Ship Columbia is another boat that sails on the Rivers of America in Frontierland. It is going to be closed from September 22nd through 25th.
Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island
Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer’s Island is scheduled for a quick closure from September 15th through September 17th.
Mickey’s Philharmagic
Mickey’s Philharmagic is a show attraction located in Hollywood Land in California Adventure park. It is going to be closing on October 6th and Disney has not announced a reopening date yet.
It’s A Small World
A closure for It’s A Small World has not been confirmed by Disney yet, but this attraction usually closes in mid-October and reopens when the holiday season starts in November. This closure is to change the ride to It’s A Small World Holiday and give it the Christmas overlay it gets every year.
Cars Land To Avengers Campus Walkway
The walkway that takes guests between Cars Land and Avengers Campus in California Adventure is currently closed and it is unknown when this walkway will reopen. This is closed for the construction they are doing on the Avengers Campus expansion where they are adding two new attractions. Take a look at the new rides coming to Disneyland here.
Napa Rose
Napa Rose is a nice restaurant inside of the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The restaurant has been closed for a few months, but will be reopening this fall with updates, like a new outdoor patio dining area.
