These are all of the new rides coming to Disneyland. A lot of them were announced at D23 in 2024 in California. None of them are in Disneyland park, but they are going to be in California Adventure at The Disneyland Resort.
Coco Attraction
California Adventure is going to be getting the first ever Pixar Coco ride. It will be in Paradise Gardens Park in California Adventure park in an area that is currently a backstage area. It will likely open sometime in 2027 or 2028. It will be a boat ride through the Land of the Dead and feature the hit songs from the Coco movie.
Avengers Infinity Defense
Avengers Campus in California Adventure is getting a big expansion with two new rides. The first is Avengers Infinity Defense. It will most likely be a 3D attraction that is said to be exhilarating, but not an intense thrill ride.
Stark Flight Lab
Stark Flight Lab will be the other new Avengers Campus ride. It will be set in Tony Stark’s workshop and guests will be testing out his latest flight technology. The Red Car Trolley attraction in California Adventure had to permanently close to make room for the Avengers Campus expansion. Read about more Disneyland rides that permanently closed here.
Avatar Boat Ride Attraction
California Adventure park is going to build a new Avatar land. One of the rides will be an Avatar boat ride through a bioluminescent lagoon based on the movie Avatar: The Way of Water. The ride Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue is going to permanently close to make room for this attraction. Read about more changes coming to Disney rides here.
DisneylandForward
DisneylandForward is the name of the project to expand The Disneyland Resort. This could include new Disney parks, which would obviously mean a lot of new rides at those theme parks. It would also include new Disney hotels, dining, and shopping areas. The city of Anaheim gave Disneyland approval for this project and fans are eagerly waiting to hear more of the plans for it.
