These are all of the Disney World closures for the last half of 2025 that are known about so far. More will likely be added to the list throughout the rest of the year and as always these closures and dates for them are subject to change.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a roller coaster in Frontierland in Magic Kingdom. It closed in January 2025 and will reopen sometime in 2026. Disney has said they are adding some extra magic to the ride.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is an attraction in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. It is going to close on August 4th and is expected to reopen sometime in 2026. It is going to be getting new blasters, ride vehicles, and more updates.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant Playground

The playground inside of the Dumbo The Flying Elephant queue is undergoing refurbishment currently. It is unknown when it will reopen, but it should be sometime in 2025.
The Boneyard

The Boneyard is in DinoLand USA in Animal Kingdom park. It is going to permanently close on September 2nd, so the last day to go here is September 1st. This is to make room for the new Tropical Americas land which will have an Indiana Jones ride, an Encanto ride, and more. Read about the new rides coming here.
Spaceship Earth

Spaceship Earth will be closing on August 25th and should reopen later in 2025, but a reopening date has not been announced. This is the attraction inside of the EPCOT ball.
Blizzard Beach

Blizzard Beach is one of the Disney World waterparks. It is open for the summer, then will close on September 8th for maintenance.
Test Track

Test Track closed in June 2024 for some major updates. It is currently open for previews for annual passholders and will officially reopen on July 22nd. This attraction is in EPCOT park.
Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid

Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid is a cute attraction in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom. It is going to have a quick closure from July 21-25, 2025.
Starbucks on the West Side of Disney Springs

Starbucks on the West side of Disney Springs closed a few months ago and is still closed. It should reopen sometime in 2025 though.
Room Closures at Resorts

There are closures at some of the Disney World Resort hotels. This includes rooms at Bay Lake Tower at The Contemporary Resort.
Jungle Cruise

Jungle Cruise closes every year around mid-October or early November so it can get it’s holiday overlay and become Jingle Cruise for the Christmas season. It will then close again in January to change back to the normal version of the ride.
Rivers of America

The Rivers of America was a beloved area in Fontierland in Magic Kingdom park. This area closed on July 7, 2025 permanently to make room for a new Cars land called Piston Peak.
Liberty Square Riverboat

Liberty Square Riverboat or Liberty Belle was a ship that sailed on the Rivers of America. This attraction closed permanently on July 7, 2025 when the Rivers of America also closed.
Tom Sawyer Island

Tom Sawyer Island was an island accessible by the Rivers of America, so this also closed permanently on July 7, 2025. Disney fans were not happy this area closed. See a list of permanently closed attractions at Disney World that fans are still upset about.
2026 Closures

There are more closures coming in 2026 that are good to know about. Dinosaur and the rest of DinoLand USA in Animal Kingdom will close permanently in early 2026, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will close sometime in 2026 and reopen with a Muppets theme, and The Skyliner will be closed January 25-31, 2026
