If the weather forecast is showing rain on your upcoming Disney World trip to Florida, then don’t worry too much because there’s still a lot you can do in the parks. These are the best things to do at Disney World when it’s raining. They are indoor activities to keep you out of the rain.
The Animation Experience at Conservation Station
In Animal Kingdom park you can go to Rafiki’s Planet Watch to do a drawing lesson. An animator will teach you how to draw a Disney character step by step.
Mickey’s PhilharMagic
Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a 12 minute 3D show in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom. This is indoors and a really nice break from the rain outside.
Enchanted Tiki Room
Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room is in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom. This is a really fun show with singing birds. It’s fun to get a Dole Whip before going in and eat it while watching the show. Rainy Day Cavalcade
Normal parades in the parks will be canceled for rain, so instead they will put on a Rainy Day Cavalcade, which is a much shorter parade with some of your favorite characters.
Turtle Talk With Crush
Turtle Talk With Crush is in World Nature in EPCOT. This is an interactive show with Crush from Finding Nemo.
Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along
Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is at World Showcase in EPCOT. This is a 15 minute film with songs from the movie The Beauty and the Beast.
Meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus
In EPCOT you can meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus. This is their summer cabin located in the World Showcase. If you have a Frozen lover in your group, then this is a must-do activity.
Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is a comedy show put on by Mike Wazowski. This is in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom park.
Princess Fairytale Hall
Princess Fairytale Hall is in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom. This is an indoor character meet n greet where you will meet Cinderella and another princess.
Disney Jr. Play and Dance!
Disney Jr. Play and Dance is a show for little ones in Hollywood Studios. They’ll get to see Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Mickey Mouse, and Timon.
Star Wars Launch Bay
Star Wars Launch Bay is in Hollywood Studios. Here you can see movie props and meet different characters like Darth Vader and Chewbacca.
Eat At Indoor Restaurants
There are a lot of indoor restaurants throughout the parks. This includes Satu’li Canteen, Pinocchio Village Haus, Roundup Rodeo BBQ, and Be Our Guest.
Character Dining
Character dining is usually indoors. Tusker House in Animal Kingdom park is a great option for character dining in the parks. If you go for breakfast you can get Simba waffles and Mickey waffles.
Go On Indoor Rides
