If you’ve been to Disneyland a lot and are wanting to see some new things while you’re there, then you’re going to love this list of secret spots in Disneyland. You can go experience them for yourself or impress your friends and family by showing them these spots. A lot of them are a nice, quiet place to take a break. A few are not accessible to everyone, but most are.
Club 33

Club 33 is very exclusive and off-limits to the average guest. You have to pay tens of thousands of dollars a year to access this area and restaurant. Some people walk right by it and have no idea what it even is. If you’re wondering more about joining Club 33, read all about it here.
21 Royal

21 Royal is another exclusive area of Disneyland that most people do not access. It has a restaurant and was built for Walt Disney to entertain big guests, like celebrities.
Animation Building

The Animation Building is in California Adventure and anyone who enters the park can go here. It’s kind of secret because a lot of people don’t even know it’s here. You can do a drawing lesson with an animator, meet Anna and Elsa from Frozen, do Turtle Talk with Crush, and more.
Disney Theater

The Disney Theater is right next to the Animation Building. This is where you can see the Disney Jr. Dance Party! It’s super fun and has characters kids love like Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and Mickey and Minnie in their Roadster Racers outfits.
Snow White’s Grotto

Snow White’s Grotto is a beautiful area to the left side of the Disneyland Castle that has statues of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This is a really nice, quiet area in Disneyland.
Rapunzel’s Tower

Rapunzel’s Tower is a hidden gem in Fantasyland in Disneyland. It’s a statue of her tower and at the top you see Rapunzel’s head poking out. At night her hair lights up every 15 minutes and the Healing Incantation song from the movie plays. See more Disneyland hidden gems here.
Observation Outpost

If you don’t want to go on the ride Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, consider going to the Observation Outpost instead. Here you can view the ride without having to go on it. If you want to do this, go into the exit and ask a Cast Member if you can go in the Observation Outpost.
Walt Disney’s Apartment

Walt Disney’s Apartment is a very secret spot in Disneyland. You can view the outside of it on Main Street, USA above the fire department. To go in here, you’ll have to pay for a tour called Walt’s Main Street Story Tour.
Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough

The Sleeping Beauty Castle has a little bit of a secret spot in it. You can walk through it from the back of the castle starting on the right side, and ending on the left, near the Peter Pan ride. Silly Symphony Swings Deck

Silly Symphony Swings is an attraction in California Adventure. Underneath the ride is a nice area with benches, ceiling fans, and a view of the water.
Main Street Cinema

Main Street Cinema can be found on Main Street, USA in Disneyland. A lot of guests walk straight down Main Street and don’t even realize what all is there. One of those things is the Main Street Cinema where you can watch Mickey Mouse shorts and take a break from the crowds.
Main Street Opera House

Main Street Opera House is another quiet place to take a break on Main Street, USA. It’s at the very beginning of Main Street.
Seating Area in the Esplanade

The Esplanade is the area between Disneyland and California Adventure park. You do not need a theme park ticket to access this area. There are picnic tables that are located near the exit of Disneyland.
The Old Motor Boat Dock

The Old Motor Boat Dock is behind Edelweiss Snacks. There is a lot of seating along the water and you can usually find an open spot. Grab a fun treat or Mickey slush and go sit in this secret spot.
Harbor Galley Seating Area

Harbor Galley is a restaurant in Disneyland. There is seating in front that is super busy, so take your food and walk around the right of Harbor Galley. There is some seating along the water that is not crowded at all and kind of a secret spot.
Tom Sawyer Island

Tom Sawyer Island is in Disneyland. Take a short boat ride across the Rivers of America to get to it and have fun exploring.
Lamplight Lounge Secret Room

Lamplight Lounge is a restaurant in California Adventure along the water. There is a secret room here. You can request it, but may not get it. Sometimes guests get lucky and are just seated here without asking.
Grand Californian Rooftop Deck

If you stay at the Grand Californian Hotel you can access the rooftop deck which has amazing views of California Adventure park.
