More Theme Parks
Disneyland only has two theme parks, which are Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure. Disney World has four theme parks though. They are Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios.
More Attractions
Disney World has more attractions than Disneyland does. The Disney World theme parks have a total of 59 attractions and the Disneyland Resort has a total of 49 attractions.
The Waterparks
The Disneyland Resort does not have any waterparks, but the Disney World Resort has two waterparks. They are called Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. The waterparks are great in the Florida heat.
Bigger Castle

More Disney Resorts
Disneyland only has three Disney hotels that you can stay at. Disney World has more than 25 hotels and they have a good mix of different price points for the hotels.
Unique Attractions
There are a lot of attractions you can go on at Disney World that you cannot go on at Disneyland. Some of them are Tower of Terror, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, and Frozen Ever After. Transportation
Disneyland does not have transportation because everything is so close that you don’t need it. Disney World has a lot of free transportation though, including the Skyliner, buses, the monorail, and boats.
The Disney Bubble
People feel as though they have been transported to a different world they refer to as the Disney Bubble. Disney World is so much bigger than Disneyland and you almost forget the rest of the world exists when you’re there.
The Fireworks
The firework shows at Magic Kingdom are much more elaborate than the ones at Disneyland. There are more fireworks and they go higher into the air. The fireworks are on more nights here than in Disneyland too EPCOT also has fireworks shows.
Recreation
Disney World has a lot more recreation than Disneyland does. You can rent bikes, golf at golf courses, go fishing, horseback riding, do campfires, and more at the resorts.
World Showcase
World Showcase is such a unique area in EPCOT. It features 11 different countries with different food, shows, attractions, and more. Disneyland does not have a World Showcase.
Toy Story Land
Toy Story Land is a really cool and immersive land in Hollywood Studios park. It has unique rides like Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. It also has unique restaurants like Roundup Rodeo BBQ.
