These are all of the new rides coming to Disney World. They are located in Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom parks. Unfortunately, these parks have seen a lot of permanent closures recently to make room for the new lands and attractions. There are not a lot of details about the new rides yet, but this is the information Disney has released so far about them.
Encanto Attraction
Animal Kingdom is closing DinoLand USA to build a new Tropical Americas land. One of the attractions in this land will be an Encanto ride based on the movie. It will likely open in 2027, but there are not a lot of details yet.
Tropical Americas Carousel
The new Tropical Americas land will also get a unique carousel that is expected to have Eeyore, Kevin, Timon, Pumba, and more Disney characters as the ride vehicles.
Indiana Jones Attraction
DinoLand in Animal Kingdom park is currently in the middle of closing and that is where this new Indiana Jones attraction will be built. It should be opening in 2027. It will not be the same as Indiana Jones Adventure in Disneyland, but will be somewhat similar. Read about what’s closing here to make room for this new land.
Monsters, Inc. Suspension Roller Coaster
Muppets Courtyard in Hollywood Studios has officially closed and construction in underway to build a new Monsters, Inc. Land in its place. It will feature a suspension roller coaster, which will be the first of its kind in any Disney park. It will have Boo, Mike, and Sulley in the scene where they are jumping from door to door.
Muppets Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith in Hollywood Studios is closing permanently in early 2026. It will reopen later in 2026 with a new Muppets theme on the ride. This is exciting for Muppets fans since they lost Muppets Courtyard.
Villains Land Attraction
Magic Kingdom park is getting a new villains land. There are not a lot of details yet about the new land, but it is going to have new attractions. Based on the concept art people believe one ride might be a Maleficent themed roller coaster since you can see her in dragon form in it.
Second Villains Land Attraction
There will also be a second Villains Land attraction in Magic Kingdom, but there are no details surrounding this attraction that have been announced yet. Hopefully Disney will give us more details soon.
Thrilling Cars Ride
The Rivers of America in Magic Kingdom closed and a new Cars land called Piston Peak National Park is being built in its place. One of the attractions will be a thrilling Cars ride that takes you through a rally race in the mountains.
Family-Friendly Cars Ride
The second attraction in Piston Peak National Park will be a family-friendly Cars ride that little ones will be able to go on.
