All The Movies To Watch Before Going To Disney World

There are so many fun movies to watch before going to Disney World to refresh your memory on them or catch up on the ones you haven’t seen.

It’s so fun to go on the rides and recognize the characters, quotes, and songs from the movies they’re in.

Walt Disney World has four theme parks. They are Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.

There are some must-watch movies that you have to see before going to each of the Disney parks.

Add some of them to your list of Disney movies to watch at your next movie night before your Disney World trip.

You can find most of these movies on Disney Plus or you can purchase them.

Movies To Watch Before Going To Magic Kingdom

• Aladdin – Watch this movie before going on The Magic Carpets Of Aladdin ride.
• Alice In Wonderland – You can meet characters from the movie outside of the ride Mad Tea Party. You can also meet them at the United Kingdom pavilion in Epcot and at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
• Cinderella – Cinderella is such a classic Disney movie! Magic Kingdom has Cinderella’s Castle in it at the end of Main Street. You can meet Cinderella characters when dining at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian.
• Dumbo – Dumbo The Flying Elephant is the attraction you need to see this movie for.
• The Haunted Mansion – You can watch this movie year round, but you’ll definitely want to see it if you’re going during Halloween time. Magic Kingdom has a Haunted Mansion ride. It’s one of my favorites!
• Jungle Cruise – Jungle Cruise is a classic ride and it’s a movie that came out in 2021.
• The Little Mermaid – Watch this before riding Under The Sea – Journey Of The Little Mermaid.
• Peter Pan – You definitely have to watch Peter Pan before your next Disney trip! It’s one of the best Disney movies and you’ll want a refresher on it before going on the ride Peter Pan’s Flight.
• Pirates Of The Caribbean – The Pirates Of The Caribbean ride is so nostalgic. You’ll also want to watch these movies before a vacation with Disney Cruise Line since they have a Pirates themed night.
• Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs – This is a must see before riding Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train.
• Swiss Family Robinson – Visit the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse!
• Toy Story – You’ll want to watch this before going on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
• Toy Story 2

• Tron – A new ride called Tron Lightcycle Coaster is coming in 2023!

• Winnie The Pooh – The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh is a super cute ride.

• Cars – Go to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy in Sunset Boulevard.

• Fantasia – You can meet Sorcerer Mickey here!
• Indiana Jones Movies – There is a show in this park called Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectactular.
• The Muppets – Watch this before watching Muppet Vision 3D at Hollywood Studios.
• Star Wars Movies – Hollywood Studios has a whole Star Wars land called Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. You’ll find Star Wars Launch Bay, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Star Tours, and Star Wars: Rise Of The Resistance.
• Tower Of Terror – I love this movie and the ride The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror. Parts of the movie were filmed in the lobby of the attraction.
• Toy Story – You have to watch the Toy Story movies before going to Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios. The Toy Story rides there are Toy Story Mania, Slinky Dog Dash, RC Racer, Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop, and Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin.

• Finding Dory
• Finding Nemo – Seas With Nemo And Friends is an Epcot attraction based on the movie.

• The Lion King – You can watch Festival Of The Lion King in this park.
• Up – You can do a character meet with Karl and Russel from the movie Up in Animal Kingdom.
