Walt Disney World in Florida is full of really fun rides, but some do not live up to the hype for everyone. This list has all of the most overrated rides at Disney World.
Tron Lightcycle / Run
Tron Lightcycle / Run is a very modern and newer ride. It has super long wait times and it a quick ride. The ride is only about 2 minutes long.
Peter Pan’s Flight
Peter Pan’s Flight is a really cute ride in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom. Most guests really love this ride, they just do not love the long wait times that you’ll see almost all day for it.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a cute Ratatouille themed ride. The wait times are too long for it though. It would help if EPCOT had more attractions for people to go on.
Slinky Dog Dash
Slinky Dog Dash is a cute Toy Story themed ride. The reason it’s an overrated ride is that it has long wait times and it’s a short ride. It’s only about 2 minutes. You can see what all of the shortest rides at Disney World are here.
Jungle Cruise
Jungle Cruise can be a fun ride, there are a few problems with it though. A lot of the animatronics are outdated and it’d be nice if there were more of them. Also, if your boat doesn’t get a good skipper, then you might not hear all the funny jokes and enjoy it.
Pirates of the Caribbean
Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic Kingdom is a really fun ride, it’s just really short compared to similar versions of the ride in other Disney theme parks. The Disney World version is about 8 minutes while the Disneyland version is 16 minutes. You can see what all of the longest rides at Disneyland are here.
Mad Tea Party
Mad Tea Party in Magic Kingdom is a really fun ride for kids, but most adults do not love the spinning action of it since it makes them feel sick.
Avatar Flight of Passage
Avatar Flight of Passage is a ride in Animal Kingdom park. It’s a cool ride, but has long wait times and some guests feel the graphics could use some updating.
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run is in Hollywood Studios. It’s a Star Wars themed ride, but it’s a bit short and too interactive for some people.
Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a ride that many people love, but it doesn’t live up to the hype for the wait times people go through to get to the ride. Some people also wish it told more of the Snow White story in the ride.
