3. Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom theme Park is part of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and is owned by Walt Disney Company. This park first opened on October 1, 1971. It has Cinderella’s castle which is 189 feet tall.

The park has 6 lands in it. They are Fantasyland, Frontierland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Liberty Square, and Main Street U.S.A.

4. Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a theme park in the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, near Orlando. It opened on May 1, 1989. It was originally called MGM Studios.

The different areas of the park are Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Toy Story Land, Animation Courtyard, Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, and Grand Avenue.

5. Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom was the last of the Walt Disney World parks to open. It opened on April 22, 1998, which is Earth Day.

Animal Kingdom is the biggest theme park in the world at 580 acres.

The area are Pandora – The World Of Avatar, Oasis, Discovery Island, Rafiki’s Planet Watch, DinoLand USA, Asia, and Africa.

The park has rides, The Tree of life, and tons of animals. Some of the animals the park has are zebras, giraffes, rhinos, crocodiles, and elephants.

6. Epcot

Epcot is also one of the parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. It’s opening day was October 1, 1982. The areas of this park are World Showcase, World Nature, World Discovery, and World Celebration.

The World Showcase has 11 different pavilions that represent different countries.

The 11 countries are France, Mexico, Italy, Germany, China, Norway, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Morocco, and America. Each one a lot of fun to visit!

7. Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris used to be called Euro Disney. The theme park is located Chessy, France. It’s about a 17 minute train ride from Paris. The park opened April 12, 1992.

The castle is called Le Château de la Belle au Bois dormant and is 167 feet tall. The park has some of the same rides as Disneyland, like It’s A Small World, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and and Pirates Of The Caribbean.

8. Walt Disney Studios Park

This was the second park to open as part of the Disneyland Paris Resort. It opened March 16, 2002. It is themed after movies.

It has four studio lots right now which are Worlds of Pixar, Front Lot, Toons Studio, and Production Courtyard.

Areas that will be completed in the next few years are Avengers Campus, Arendelle: World of Frozen, and Star Wars Land.

9. Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland was the first of the international Disney theme parks to open. It’s in Urayasu, Japan, near Tokyo. It’s opening day was April 15, 1983.

The park’s areas and rides are similar to what you’ll find at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom.

It has Fantasyland, Toontown, Tomorrowland, Critter Country, Westernland, Adventureland, and World Bazaar.

Cinderella’s castle here is 168 feet tall. In 2020, they opened a second castle at Tokyo Disneyland, Beast’s Castle. It is 108 feet tall.

10. Tokyo DisneySea

Tokyo Disney is also part of the Tokyo Disney Resort. It opened on September 4, 2001.

It has seven lands that are Mediterranean Harbor, Mermaid Lagoon, Mysterious Island, Arabian Coast, Lost River Delta, American Waterfront, and Port Discover.

11. Hong Kong Disneyland

This park is in Hong Kong, China. It opened on September 12, 2005. The different lands are Main Street USA, Adventureland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Toy Story Land, Grizzly Gulch, and Mystic Point.

The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort castle was originally 77 feet tall, just like the one at Disneyland in California.

It was a replica of the Sleeping Beauty castle, then in 2020 it became the Castle Of Magical Dreams.

It is 167 feet tall and is not a castle for just one princess. It has influences from many different Disney princesses.

12. Shanghai Disneyland

Shanghai Disneyland is located at the Shanghai Disney Resort in Shanghai, China.

It opened on June 16, 2016. The areas of this theme park are Mickey Avenue, Fantasyland, Treasure Cove, Tomorrowland, Toy Story Land, Adventure Isle, and Gardens Of Imagination.
