There was a comic strip in 1942 called The Gleam that originally called her Minerva. Minerva Mouse is not the name we all know her by though, she goes by the nickname Minnie.
I love how short and sweet her name is, but it’s also fun that she has a full name she doesn’t go by.

2. Minnie Is Married To Mickey Mouse
Walt Disney confirmed in an interview in 1933 that Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse are married to each other. They’re so cute together and make the perfect couple.

Instead of wearing her signature bow, Minnie used to wear a pillbox hat with a flower coming out of it. She traded in her hat for her bow in 1940.
