If you’re taking kids on a Disneyland vacation, it’s good to have a plan of what you’re wanting to do while you’re there. These are some of the fun things to do in Disneyland with kids. This list does not include California Adventure park, only Disneyland park.
Pirate’s Lair On Tom Sawyer Island

Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer’s Island is a fun little adventure to take little ones on. You’ll take a boat across the Rivers of America to Tom Sawyer’s Island where you can then explore.
Minnie & Friends – Breakfast In The Park

Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park is the only character dining you can do in Disneyland park. It’s at the Plaza Inn on Main Street. You’ll meet Minnie Mouse for sure, but the other characters you can meet change.
Casey Jr. Circus Train

Casey Jr. Circus Train is a fun train ride attraction in Fantasyland. It’s Dumbo themed and plays cute music. It does not have a height requirement, so even babies can go on this ride.
Mickey’s House

Mickey’s House is in Toontown. You walk through and see fun interactive things, watch Mickey Mouse shorts in a room, then meet Mickey Mouse. He’ll either be in his classic outfit, dressed as Steamboat Willie, or Sorcerer Mickey.
Minnie’s House

Minnie’s House is also in Toontown. It’s not as big as Mickey’s House, but it’s still really cute and fun. Kids can play with things in her kitchen and house and meet Minnie Mouse. Sometimes you meet her in her living room and other times you meet her in her backyard.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a lively and unique attraction in Toontown. It’s a trackless ride with fun music. It has Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and their other friends.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is in Fantasyland in Disneyland. You can take your kids ages 3-12 here to get a makeover to be a Princess or Prince. This is a bit of a splurge and you need a reservation for it. See more Disneyland splurges here.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant

Dumbo The Flying Elephant is a Dumbo themed ride that spins and plays circus music. This does not have a height requirement, so people of any age and height can ride it.
Meet Princesses At The Royal Hall

The Royal Hall is in Fantasyland. Here you can meet Disney princesses. You won’t know who is in there until you’ve waited in line and are in the building. You’ll meet three princesses.
It’s A Small World

It’s A Small World is one of the best rides for kids in Disneyland. It plays a catchy song, has cute dolls to look at, and is a nice break to sit for a while. The air conditioning in here feels great on a hot day.
Toontown Play Area

Toontown has a few play areas that are great for kids to get wiggles out. They have a fountain kids can play in a little, Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard with slides and things, Donald’s Duck Pond, and more.
Mad Tea Party

Mad Tea Party is a spinning attraction in Fantasyland in Disneyland. It is Alice in Wonderland themed. The spinning on this ride makes some people sick.
Enchanted Tiki Room

The Enchanted Tiki Room is a show in Adventureland. It’s fun to grab a Dole Whip and go eat it while watching the show. There are singing birds, flowers, fountains, and more.
King Arthur Carrousel

King Arthur Carrousel is a simple, but classic attraction in Fantasyland that most kids really love. It has beautiful views of the castle and plays nice music.
Watch Parades

Check the Disneyland app to see if there will be any parades going on while you’re at the park. They have some awesome longer parades and cavalcades aka short parades.
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is an interactive attraction where you aim at targets and get a score. If you have a kid who loves Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story, then add this to your list of must-ride attractions. It’s located in Tomorrowland.
Adventureland Treehouse

Adventureland Treehouse is a walk-through attraction in Adventureland by Pirates of the Caribbean. This is a fun place for kids to walk around and explore.
Alice In Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland is a very unique ride since no other Disney park has it. It’s located in Fantasyland and tells the story of the movie Alice in Wonderland.
Storytelling At Royal Theatre

The Royal Theatre is in Fantasyland right across from The Royal Hall where you meet princesses. The theatre has princess shows they do throughout the day.
The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is located in Bayou Country in Disneyland. It’s a great ride for little ones who love Winnie The Pooh and friends. You can usually meet the characters near the ride too.
