These are the Disneyland rides with closures on the calendar in September 2026.

Mad Tea Party

Mad Tea Party is closing for maintenance on September 14th. The reopening date is currently unknown.

Indiana Jones Adventure

Indiana Jones Adventure will close on September 9th and we do not have a reopening date for it yet.

Sailing Ship Columbia

Sailing Ship Columbia will be closed September 21st through 24th.

Mark Twain Riverboat

The Mark Twain Riverboat will be closed September 8th through 11th for maintenance.

Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island

Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island has a short closure in September. It will close September 14th and reopen on the 16th.

Other Closures

Those are all of the ride closures we know about so far for September. There are other closures to be aware of too. Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition is closed and reopening September 11th. Minnie & Friends Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn should reopen in late September. Chiller at Paradise Gardens Park is closed with no reopening date. Meet Tinker Bell at Pixie Hollow is closed Tuesdays and Thursdays. The walkway between Cars Land and Avengers Campus is also closed.

Upcoming Closures

It’s a small world usually closes in mid to later October so they can change it to it’s a small world holiday, which will open with the Christmas season in November. Then it usually closes again in January to change it back. Haunted Mansion Holiday usually closes in January too to change it back to the normal version of Haunted Mansion. Also, Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley was supposed to permanently close in 2027. It looks like that might get pushed out a little further though.
