These are the Disneyland closures for the last half of 2025 that we know about so far. These can change at any time and it is likely that more will be added to the lineup between now and the end of the year. It’s nice to know these ahead of time when planning your Disneyland vacation.
Matterhorn Bobsleds
Matterhorn Bobsleds is a classic roller coaster attraction in Fantasyland in Disneyland park. It closed on May 5th and is expected to reopen on July 23rd.
Pixar Pal-A-Round
Pixar Pal-A-Round will be closed July 14th through July 24th for maintenance. This is the ferris wheel in California Adventure park on Pixar Pier.
Radiator Springs Racers
Radiator Springs Racers is the most popular attraction in Cars Land in California Adventure park. It is going to close on August 18th and a reopening date has not been announced yet. The closure is expected to last about 2 month though.
Haunted Mansion
Haunted Mansion will be closed August 9th through August 21st. It will reopen on August 22nd as Haunted Mansion Holiday for the Halloween and Christmas season. This is where it is Nightmare Before Christmas themed. Read about all of the rides that change for Halloween here.
Casey Jr. Circus Train
Casey Jr. Circus Train will be closing on July 28th and it does not have a reopening date yet. This ride is in Fantasyland in Disneyland park.
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Storybook Land Canal Boats is a classic Fantasyland attraction. It is closing on July 21st for maintenance and it is unknown when the ride will be reopening.
Star Tours – The Adventure Continues
Star Tours – The Adventure Continues is a Star Wars themed ride in Tomorrowland in Disneyland park. It closed on June 30th and it does not yet have a reopening date.
Incredicoaster
Incredicoaster is closing on July 28th for maintenance. It will reopen on August 15th. This is a roller coaster in Pixar Pier in California Adventure park.
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will be closed briefly from July 21st through August 14th for maintenance. This is a fun area for kids in Grizzly Peak in California Adventure park. Here you can climb, go on slides, and meet Chip n Dale.
Napa Rose
Napa Rose is a restaurant in the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It is currently closed for refurbishment and expected to open sometime in the fall of 2025.
Walkway Between Cars Land and Avengers Campus
The walkway that takes guests between Cars Land and Avengers Campus is currently closed and it is unknown how long it will be closed for. This is part of the Avengers Campus expansion which includes new rides. Read about the new rides coming here.
It’s A Small World
Nothing is official yet, but It’s A Small World usually closes every year in mid-October to put on the holiday overlay and change it to It’s A Small World Holiday. It will then close again in January to change it back to the classic ride.
2026 Closures
We don’t know of many 2026 closures for The Disneyland Resort yet, but we do know that Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue will be closing permanently in early 2026 to make room for the new Avatar themed land. It’s A Small World and Haunted Mansion usually close in January briefly to change them back to their classic versions. Also, Grizzly River Run usually closes sometime in January or February for maintenance.
