These are the Walt Disney World rides that cost the most to build. They are detailed, immersive, and such fun rides to go on. They were not cheap to build though. Take a look at how much it cost to build these amazing attractions.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance cost Disney $500 million to build. It is the most expensive ride in all of Disney World. It is located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

Guardians of the Galaxy – Cosmic Rewind ties for first place, also costing $500 million to build. This is a roller coaster located in EPCOT. Part of the hefty cost was paying the actors from the movie to film the preshow.

Test Track

Test Track in EPCOT cost $300 million to build. The price has likely gone up quite a bit though since it has been refurbished to Test Track 3.0 opening in July 2025.

Avatar Flight of Passage

Avatar Flight of Passage is an immersive ride that cost $250 million to build. It is in Pandora – The World of Avatar in Animal Kingdom park.

Tower of Terror

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway cost $125 million to build. It is a really cute and trackless ride in Hollywood Studios. It used to be the Great Movie Ride.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
