Walt Disney World has four theme parks that are full of fun rides and attractions. Many haven’t changed much over the years, but others have. These are the Disney World attractions that have changed a lot since they opened.

Jungle Cruise is a fun boat ride attraction in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom. It used to be a lot different though. Disney has added many animal animatronics over the years. Also, the ride used to be very serious, but now it’s super funny.

Journey Into Imagination with Figment is an attraction in EPCOT. This ride opened in 1983, one year after EPCOT opened. It was popular and Figment kind of became the face of EPCOT. At one point the ride was shortened and Figment and the dreamfinder were removed completely. People were not happy about this, so eventually EPCOT brought back Figment.

Peter Pan’s Flight

Peter Pan’s Flight has seen a few changes since first opening. In 2024 Disney changed the scene with the Never Land Tribe to be more culturally sensitive.

Pirates of the Caribbean

The biggest change Pirates of the Caribbean has seen is the addition of Captain Jack Sparrow from the movies throughout the ride. They have also changed some scenes so pirates aren’t chasing women. This is a ride that has also seen a lot of changes and updates in Disneyland. See all of the Disneyland rides that have changed a lot since they opened here.
