These are all of the closures at Disney World in June 2025 that you will want to know about and prepare for if you’ll be going there. This will help you plan ahead and know what you can and cannot do before you go.
Muppets Courtyard
Muppets Courtyard is an area in Hollywood Studios park in Disney World. It will be permanently closing on June 8, 2025. The last day to visit in June 7th.
Muppet*Vision 3D
Muppet*Vision 3D is permanently closing on June 8th, so the last day to go on this attraction in June 7th. This is in Muppets Courtyard in Hollywood Studios.
Pizzerizzo
Pizzerizzo is a restaurant in Muppets Courtyard. It’s also closing June 8th, with June 7th being the last day it’s open. Muppets Courtyard is closing to make room for a Monsters, Inc. Land, which will include a new Monsters, Inc. roller coaster. See more new Disney rides coming here.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed in January and is still closed. It will not reopen until next year sometime. They are refurbishing the ride, but it is unknown what they’re doing to it.
Test Track
Test Track is a fun and thrilling car attraction in EPCOT. It closed in the summer of 2024 and is still closed. It should open later in 2025, but there is not a reopening date yet. This is one of the fastest rides in Disney World. See all of the fastest Disney World rides here.
Astro Orbiter
Astro Orbiter is a spinning attraction in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. It has been closed for a few months and will be remain closed until later in the summer.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant Playground
The ride Dumbo The Flying Elephant is still open, but the playground in the queue is currently closed with no reopening date that has been set yet.
Hall of Presidents
Hall of Presidents in Magic Kingdom closed in January 2025. It is still closed and there is not a reopening date yet.
Winter Summerland Winter Course and Summer Course
Winter Summerland Winter Course and Summer Course are both undergoing refurbishments. This started at the end of April and is expected to last until June 16, 2025
Starbucks On The West Side Of Disney Springs
Starbucks on the west side of Disney Springs is currently closed. It shouldn’t be closed for much longer, but there is not a reopening date yet.
Resort Pool Closures
There are pool closures at some Disney World resorts. This includes Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht Club and Beach Club.
Room Closures At Resorts
There are some room closures at The Contemporary Resort’s Bay Lake Tower. This should last until September 2025.
