If you’re going to Disneyland and California Adventure in March, then you’ll want to plan ahead by knowing some of these updates with things you’ll be able to do and closures. These are the changes coming to Disneyland in March 2025.
Season of the Force Starts
Season of the Force is the annual Star Wars Celebration that happens every year in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland. It will start on March 28th and run till May 4th. There will be special merchandise, fireworks in Galaxy’s Edge, and Space Mountain will become Hyperspace Mountain.
You Can Meet Luke Skywalker
Starting on March 28th as part of Season of the Force you can meet Luke Skywalker in Galaxy’s Edge. This news is very exciting for big Star Wars fans.
Droid Depot Reservations Changing
Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has always required reservations to build your own droid. This is changing though. On March 17th you will no longer need a reservation and can walk up to do this activity.
Star Wars Headbands
Starting on March 28th you’ll be able to make your own Star Wars headbands with plush characters on them, like Yoda, R2-D2, Darth Vader, a Storm Trooper, and an Ewok.
Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga
Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga is a new projection show that will take place nightly in Galaxy’s Edge during Season of the Force. This starts March 28th.
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe Reopening
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe is a favorite amongst Disneyland goers. This restaurant has been undergoing a refurbishment, but it will be reopening on March 22nd.
Ride Closures
Rides that will have closures in March include Mission: BREAKOUT, Indiana Jones Adventure, Disneyland Railroad, Disneyland Monorail, Grizzly River Run, and It’s A Small World. You can see exact dates and read more about the closures here.
90s Nite
90s Nite will be happening in Disneyland on March 4th and March 6th. Disneyland will be closing at 8pm for this event. This is a separate ticketed event that will have special character meet n greets, foods, and photo spots.
Food & Wine Festival
The Food & Wine Festival at California Adventure will run for the entire month of March and ends on April 21st. There will be special entertainment, foods, drinks, and more to enjoy.
St. Patrick’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day in March 17th. There will be some decorations and special food items throughout the parks.
