If you’re going to The Disneyland Resort in June, then it’s good to know about events, holidays, and things going on there. These are the changes coming to Disneyland in June 2025. Knowing them will help you plan ahead for a great trip.
You Can Meet Rex From Toy Story
Rex from Toy Story will be doing a new, limited-time meet and greet for guests. He will be on Pixar Pier in California Adventure, most likely in the same spot you can meet the other Toy Story characters. The others ones you can meet there are Woody, Bow Peep, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear.
Summer Crowds
Most schools in America star their summer break at the end of May or beginning of June. This means that a lot of families take summer vacations in June, which causes increased crowds at The Disneyland Resort.
Father’s Day
Father’s Day will be on Sunday June 15th this year. The Plaza Inn in Disneyland will be doing a special Father’s Day brunch on June 14th and June 15th.
Ride Closures
Ride closures for June include Matterhorn Bobsleds in Fantasyland and Chip n Dale’s GadgetCOASTER in Mickey’s Toontown. Matterhorn Bobsleds does not have a reopening date.
Other Closures
There will be other closures in June that are not rides. This includes the Enchanted Tiki Room, Pixie Hollow, some things at Pixar Place Hotel, Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln, and more. You can read all about the closures and dates for them here.
First Full Month of the 70th Celebration
Disneyland’s 70th Celebration started on May 16th, so June will be the first full month of all the festivities from the big celebration. You can learn all about the 70th Celebration here.
Stitch Day
Stitch is experiment 626 in his movie, so June 26th (6/26) has become Stitch Day. In Disneyland you might find extra merch and ways to celebrate this fun day.
Pixar Pals Playtime Party
Pixar Pals Playtime Party is a fun show to take little ones to at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland. You’ll see Pixar characters from Toy Story, The Incredibles, Inside Out, and more.
Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Blast
Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Blast is a fun and lively show that is in the Tomorrowland Terrace in Disneyland. You’ll see Stitch and more Disney characters dancing and having fun.
