Disneyland will be turning 70 years old on July 17, 2025. The Disneyland Resort Celebration starts on May 16th and runs till August 14th. These are the things coming to Disneyland for the 70th celebration. They’re going all out!
Mickey and Friends New Outfits
Mickey Mouse and his friends will have new special outfits for the 70th celebration that are blue, pink, purple, and yellow. They are so colorful and cute. These outfits are for Mickey, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Clarabelle, Chip n Dale, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Pluto.
Castle Decor
The Disneyland castle will feature decor for the 70th celebration that is mainly blue, pink, and gold with a lot of it saying 70. There will be banners and a big 70 on the castle.
Duffy and ShellieMay At The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade
There is going to be a Celebrate Happy Cavalcade parade at Disneyland with all your favorite Disney characters and also Duffy and ShellieMay from Duffy and Friends, which is big at the Disney parks in Asia.
Disneyland 70th Ticket Offer
Disneyland is doing a special ticket offer during their 70th celebration. Tickets are valid May 16th through August 14th. You can get a 3 day one park per day ticket for $120/day or a 4 day one park per day ticket for $100/day.
Toy Story Midway Mania! Changes
Toy Story Midway Mania! is a ride in California Adventure park. It will have nods to the 70th anniversary with targets that say 70.
Paint The Night Parade
Paint the Night is a nighttime parade on Main Street, USA with over a million LED lights. It will feature characters from Toy Story, Cars, Monsters, Inc, The Little Mermaid, and more.
Anna And Elsa Are Joining Paint the Night
Anna and Elsa from Frozen will be joining the crew for the Paint the Night parade. Their parade float will be Elsa’s ice castle, which looks beautiful lit up at night.
New Merch
Disneyland’s 70th celebration will bring a lot of new merch to the parks that you can purchase, including backpacks, clothing, and more.
Decor In The Esplanade
The Esplanade is the area between the Disneyland entrance and the California Adventure entrance. This area will feature decor that matches what will be on the castle.
World of Color Happiness!
World of Color Happiness is an all-new version of World of Color at California Adventure. This is a nighttime show with projections on the water. It will be hosted by Joy and other emotions from the Inside Out movies.
Changes To It’s A Small World
It’s A Small World has been closed since January for refurbishments. It will reopen on April 25th and have some exciting changes. It’s going to have Dante and Miguel from Coco in the Mexico area.
Wondrous Journeys Nighttime Show
Wondrous Journeys is a nighttime firework show at the castle with projections on the castle. It celebrates Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! Parade
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! Parade is in California Adventure park. This parade features characters from many Pixar movies including Luca, Turning Red, and more.
