If you’re going on vacation to Walt Disney World in November, then there are some dates and things you’ll want to know about before your trip so you can be prepared and plan around them.
In this post I’ll tell you all of the changes coming to Disney World in November 2024.
Some of these include ride closures, special events, festivals, and water parks news.
1. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is in Magic Kingdom at Disney World.
It will run on certain nights starting November 8th and ending December 20th.
You can expect to see Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, unique foods, and characters dressed in Holiday attire.
2. The Jingle Cruise
The Jungle Cruise is a popular Magic Kingdom attraction that gets a holiday overlay every year, which changes the name of the ride to The Jingle Cruise.
Fans will be able to ride on The Jingle Cruise starting November 2nd!
3. Jollywood Nights
Jollywood Nights is a nighttime event at Hollywood Studios. This is the second year of this event.
This will be happening on select nights from November 9th through December 21st.
It’s going to have a new show called Glisten with ice skating.
4. Typhoon Lagoon Closure
Disney’s water park Typhoon Lagoon will be closing November 4th for refurbishment, so the last day to go there is November 3rd.
No worries if you’re wanting to go to a water park though, look at the next change in this post.
5. Ride Closures
The EPCOT attraction Test Track is closed and will be for quite some time. It’s been closed since June 2024, so this isn’t really a change, but it’s good to be aware of before your visit.
6. Blizzard Beach Opening
Blizzard Beach has been closed for most of the year for refurbishment, but will be opening November 4th.
This is very exciting considering how long it has been closed for!
It will be fun to see what’s been updated and what’s new at the water park.
7. EPCOT’s Food And Wine Festival Is Ending
The popular Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT is currently happening and will be ending on November 23rd.
If you’re a festival lover, don’t worry, a new one will be starting very soon after.
8. EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays Starts
EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays starts November 29th and runs till December 30th.
This is a shorter festival, but a fun one for the holidays. It will take place at the World Showcase.
They will have special holiday menus, international storytellers, and a candlelight processional.
9. Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving Day is Thursday November 28th. This means that many people are off of work and out of school.
You can expect to see larger crowds the week of Thanksgiving. Lightning Lane Multi Pass prices will be higher for the holiday too.
