If you’re going on vacation to Disneyland in November, you’ll want to be aware of some things going on.
In this post I’ll tell you all of the changes coming to Disneyland in November 2024.
1. Christmas Is Coming
The Holiday season begins at Disneyland on November 15th. There is already snow on the castle and you can expect to see other Christmas decor going up before the official start date.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and all of their friends will have special holiday outfits on when you see them on Main Street, USA.
Disneyland will have a special Christmas parade called A Christmas Fantasy Parade.
Cars Land in California Adventure also gets decorated for Christmas and you can expect to see Mater in his cute Santa hat.
2. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Opening
The wait is over for the newest Disneyland attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! It will be opening on November 15th as the holidays start.
This ride might be hard to ride for quite some time though since it will be very busy and popular.
3. Ride Closures
There are some ride closures you’ll want to be aware of in November.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant closed October 1st and could still be closed in November.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is closing November 18th.
The Disneyland Railroad is being refurbished with no opening date.
It’s a small world will be closed for the first half of November, opening November 15th. It will have its Christmas overlay when it reopens.
4. Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving Day is November 28th. You can expect to see increased crowds since a lot of people are off from work and school this week.
The crowds will be much higher and Lightning Lane prices might be higher than normal too.
5. Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party Breakfast and Brunch
Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party Breakfast and Brunch will be happening at Storyteller’s Cafe at the Grand Californian Hotel.
The dates for this are November 19, 2024 through January 1, 2025.
Mickey and his friends will be dressed in holiday pajamas as they walk around the restaurant and interact with you.
They’ll also have some holiday themed foods at the buffet for you to indulge in.
This costs $65 for adults and $36 for children ages 3-9. Children 2 and under are free.
