These are all of the changes at Disneyland in February 2026 that you need to know about if you will be at The Disneyland Resort. Knowing these changes will help you plan your trip better.
Lunar New Year is Ending
Lunar New Year at the Disneyland and California Adventure goes through February 22nd. There is a new character meet n greet for red panda Mei from Turning Red. You can also meet Mickey and Minnie in traditional cultural outfits. Mulan’s New Year Procession is a few times each day. There are a lot of foods that are only available during Lunar New Year at the marketplaces. The Strawberry Milktea Macaron is back along with many new menu items like the Hotteok-Inspired Mickey-shaped Waffles at Schmoozies.
Lower Crowds
February usually has lower crowds. You can expect higher crowds the weekend of Presidents Day weekend though, which is Feb 14-16th.
Sweetheart’s Nite Ends
Sweethearts Nite will have its last party in February. The dates of this event are February 3rd, 5th, 8th, 10th, 12th, and 17th. The party goes from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
Ride Closures
The ride closures in Disneyland in February include Rise of the Resistance, It’s A Small World, Jungle Cruise, Grizzly River Run, Incredicoaster, Jumpin Jellyfish, and Sailing Ship Columbia. Read more about all of the closures at Disneyland in February here.
Other Closures

Celebrate Gospel
Celebrate Gospel is in Downtown Disney February 20-21 and February 27-28. There are performances by Southern California community choirs. The headliners are Hezekiah Walker on February 21st and Yolanda Adams on February 28th.
Anaheim Ducks Day
Anaheim Ducks Day in Disneyland is February 22nd. Players from the Anaheim Ducks team will be there with hockey entertainment, activities, photo ops and more.
