These are closures you can expect to see at Disneyland and California Adventure from August 4th through August 10th. They include rides and more. Read about them if you’ll be there during this week so you can know what to expect while you’re there.
Incredicoaster
Incredicoaster closed on July 28th and is expected to reopen on August 15th. It is undergoing some maintenance. It is the roller coaster on Pixar Pier in California Adventure park.
Haunted Mansion
Haunted Mansion is closing on August 9th through 21st. It will reopen on August 22nd as Haunted Mansion Holiday where it has the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay that will stay until January 7, 2026.
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue is a Star Wars ride in Tomorrowland in Disneyland. It closed at the end of June and does not have a reopening date yet.
Casey Jr. Circus Train
Casey Jr. Circus Train is a cute train ride located in Fantasyland in Disneyland. It closed on July 28th for maintenance and it is unknown when the ride will reopen.
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Storybook Land Canal Boats is the boat ride in the same area as Casey Jr. Circus Train. It closed on July 21st and does not have a reopening date yet.
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail closed on July 21st for refurbishment and it will be reopening on August 14th. This is a really fun area for kids in Grizzly Peak in California Adventure park.
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! is a Pixar parade in California Adventure park that has been running this summer for the 70th Celebration. August 3rd is the last day it will run for a while since it is stopping temporarily for the Halloween season.
Walkway Between Cars Land and Avengers Campus
The walkway that takes guests between Avengers Campus and Cars Land is closed while Disney works on the Avengers Campus expansion in this area. They will be adding two new rides to the land. Read about the new rides coming to Disneyland here.
Napa Rose
Napa Rose in The Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is undergoing refurbishments and should reopen later this fall. See the full list of closures at Disneyland in August here.
