1. Character Dining
If you’re into character dining, then I’m sure you’d love to do a character meal on your big day! Disney World has tons of options for this inside and outside the theme parks.
They have character dining at 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey’s, Cinderella’s Royal Table, ‘Ohana, Topolino Terrace, and more.
2. Get A Birthday Button
This may seem like an obvious way to celebrate, but it really is fun! You can get birthday buttons from guest services and some of the shops.
When you wear this cast members and even other guests will tell you happy birthday all day long!

3. Stay At A Disney World Resort Hotel
This can be a big splurge, but will be so special and memorable! There are tons of hotels to choose from.
Some of the nicest ones to stay at are Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
You could stay a night at one of these and have a resort day where you explore the resort, go to the pools, and eat at the restaurants.
4. Get A Celebration Cake
When you make dining reservations you can order a Mickey Mouse celebration cake from some table service restaurants.
These are so cute and definitely an indulgence.
5. Wear A Disney Birthday Shirt
Wearing a birthday shirt is fun and everyone will be telling you happy birthday!
This shirt is so cute and says “Best Birthday Ever” and has Mickeys and a castle graphic on it.
6. Eat At A Fancy Restaurant
Some nice Disney World restaurants you could treat yourself at are Victoria & Alberts at The Grand Floridian, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Tusker House Restaurant in Animal Kingdom, and Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT.
Be sure to make reservations ahead of time to ensure that you’re able to eat there.
7. Have A Spa Day
Treat yourself to a spa day at one of Disney’s resorts. Get a massage, facial, or whatever sounds good to you.
8. Head To The Water Parks
If your birthday is on a hot day, have some fun cooling off at Blizzard Beach Water Park or Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
This will be more relaxing than the theme parks, but still fun and will keep you busy.
9. Have A Relaxing Day At Disney Springs
There’s a lot to do at Disney Springs. You can walk around, get treats at Gideon’s Bakehouse, watch the fireworks, get a Mickey Mouse latte at Joffrey’s, and more.
10. Dessert Party
Magic Kingdom has a fireworks dessert party that is perfect for a celebration. It’s at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant.
You’ll have drinks, cheese, and desserts, then watch the fireworks from a special viewing area.
