If you’re going to The Disneyland Resort this spring, then there are certain things to plan around to have a smooth vacation. These are all of the things to know if you’re going to Disneyland this spring.
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration
The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration is one of the biggest things happening this spring. The celebration starts on May 16th and it is to celebrate Disneyland’s 70th anniversary. There will be special decor, food, entertainment, and more.
Food & Wine Festival
The Food & Wine Festival in happening in California Adventure park February 28th through April 21st. There are lots of special menu items just for this event.
Season of the Force

Springtime Character Dining
Springtime will start at Goofy’s Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel on April 3rd. You need a reservation for this restaurant and can eat here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Storyteller’s Cafe will have a special Easter character breakfast on April 20th.
Early Park Closures
There will be early park closures on certain nights because of after hours events. Disneyland will close at 8pm on April 8, 10, 22, 24, and 29 for Star Wars Nite. There will also be early closures for Grad Nite and 90s Nite.
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe Is Reopening
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe is an iconic Disneyland restaurant on Main Street, USA in Disneyland. It has been closed since January, but will reopen March 22nd. Fans of the restaurant will be able to get the famous grilled cheese and tomato soup again.
Napa Rose Will Close Temporarily
Napa Rose is a restaurant in the Grand Californian Hotel. It’s going to close temporarily this spring for renovation. The Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure will be relocated to a different restaurant during this refurbishment.
Ride Closures

Spring Break Crowds
A lot of schools across America have spring break in March and April. This causes increased crowds in Disneyland and California Adventure park since a lot of people go on vacation here.
Holidays
Disneyland doesn’t go crazy for spring holidays, but they do some fun things for them. St. Patrick’s Day is March 17th and you can expect special menu items and the Leprechaun of Disneyland’s house will be decorated. Easter is April 20th and there will be an Easter Eggstravaganza Hunt. Mother’s Day is May 11th, which will have special dining.
