These are the rides that are worse at Disneyland than their versions at Walt Disney World. Some have better queues, some have better rides, and others have holiday theming at Disney World that they don’t get at Disneyland.
Jungle Cruise
Jungle Cruise is better at Disney World and worse at Disneyland. The Disney World version has a few scenes you won’t find at Disneyland. Also, the Disney World version turns into the Jingle Cruise at Christmas time, which is really fun and festive.
Astro Orbitor
Disneyland’s Astro Orbitor has worse views than Disney World’s Astro Orbiter attraction. The Disney World version has amazing views of Cinderella’s Castle, Space Mountain, and more.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant
Dumbo the Flying Elephant is a super cute and magical ride in Fantasyland in Disneyland. If we’re comparing though, the Disney World version wins because there are two of it and it has a playground in the queue.
Toy Story Midway Mania
Toy Story Midway Mania is a ride in California Adventure and Hollywood Studios has the same ride, but it’s named Toy Story Mania. Toy Story Midway Mania’s queue isn’t as nice and elaborate as the Florida version’s queue.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a really cute Pooh Bear themed ride. In Disneyland it’s located in Bayou Country and in Magic Kingdom it’s located in Fantasyland. The Magic Kingdom version has a more interactive queue and the ride just feels a little more nostalgic.
The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure
The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure is located in California Adventure. The same ride is in Magic Kingdom, but it is named Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid. They are the same on the inside, but the facade and queue are different. The Disneyland one is worse because the Disney World one is stunning and much bigger and more grand.
