Want to try resort hopping Disney World? Great idea! It’s the best way to enjoy Disney World with very little money.

Read on for more information about different Disney resorts, how to reach them, and what to do there.

What Is Resort Hopping Disney World?

Resort hopping means visiting more than one resort without staying in any of them. It’s simply going from one resort to the other to do different things like get a drink or a meal and enjoying the resort and its offers.

This way, you don’t need that much money to enjoy Disney World since you aren’t paying for a theme park. On top of that, it helps you choose where you’d like to stay on future visits.

Disney World Resorts

It can be hard to visit all the Disney resorts in one visit. Therefore, when you’re resort hopping Disney World you can save time by picking resorts close to one another. Here’s a list of Disney resorts grouped by location:

How to Get to Disney Resorts

You have several transportation options to aid you on your resort hopping mission, including:

Driving

Perhaps driving seems like the easiest option. However, it isn’t the most convenient. This is because finding parking can be very difficult, especially during high season.

It’s true that Disney resorts offer complimentary parking, but only with reservations.

Disney Transportation

There’s no point in driving if you can’t get parking, so the best option is to use Disney transportation, such as:

Buses

Although buses can take you from resorts to theme parks, they don’t connect the different resorts except for the one connecting Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness.

Water Taxis

These are among the slower options connecting major resorts to different areas such as Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs, and Epcot.

Yet, the good news is they can take you across resorts. Also, it’s fun to ride in a boat around the Walt Disney World resort.

Disney Skyliner and Monorail

This is the ideal option for a resort-hopper. These sky highways connect resorts, regardless of the distance between them.

In addition, they’re a great adventure in themselves. Imagine riding a railroad in the sky with amazing views!

Walk

Walking between resorts is another option, but you’ll be limited to resorts that are super close to each other.
