4 Top Reasons To Stay On-Site At Disney World

Published by Elizabeth Morgan on May 2, 2024

Staying at a Disney World hotel can be expensive, but there are some huge perks.

In this article we’ll go over the top reasons to stay on-site at Disney World to really make the most of your vacation.

There are so many different hotels to choose from, but each of them has all of the benefits that we’re about to talk about.

1. Early Entry

It doesn’t get better than early entry! Guests staying at Disney resorts can enter the four Disney theme parks an extra 30 minutes before other Disney World guests.

How cool is that?! Use this extra time to go on a few rides with little to no wait times and soak in the magic of Disney World before the crowds come.

2. You’re Close To The Parks

Disney World’s on-site hotels are very close to the parks. You won’t spend a lot of time getting to them.

Also, you might have awesome views of the parks and the firework shows!

3. Easy Complementary Transportation

Disney World has the Skyliner, boats, buses, and the monorail that connect the resorts to the theme parks and more.

Take advantage of this as it is free and is a good way to get around. This will save you from needing a rental car, driving, and parking at Disney World.

4. You’re Right In The Magic

You can’t get closer to the Disney magic than staying at a Disney hotel! Their hotels have amazing Disney touches throughout them.

Some have more Disney theming and some have less, so there are great options for kids and adults. A really fun hotel for kids is Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, while adults might prefer something more like Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

There are also a lot of fun dining options at Disney resorts, including character dining that you can do on your vacation.

Conclusion

While it costs more to stay on-site at Disney World, reasons like early park entry and being immersed in the Disney magic make it so worth it to maximize your vacation.
