Disneyland has so many rides that are old and new. Some that the park opened with are still there, while others are new or have been redone to have different theming. This list has all of the newest rides at Disneyland.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is the newest ride at the Disneyland Resort. It officially opened on November 15, 2024. It used to be Splash Mountain, but was reimagined to have a Princess and the Frog theme. It’s a water log flume ride. You can see all of the water rides at Disneyland here.
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Gadgetcoaster
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster in Toontown opened March 19, 2023. It was formerly Gadget’s Go Coaster. It is the shortest ride in all of Disneyland. It only takes 44 seconds to ride. You can see all of the shortest rides at Disneyland here.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opened on January 27, 2023 when Toontown reopened in Disneyland. It’s a very cute ride with Mickey Mouse and his friends that’s trackless and really unique.
Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure
Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure opened on June 4, 2021. It’s located in Avengers Campus in California Adventure park.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened on January 17, 2020. It opened later than other parts of Galaxy’s Edge.
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind is a cute Inside Out themed ride that opened June 28, 2019. It is located on Pixar Pier in California Adventure.
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run opened on May 31, 2019, the same day that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in Disneyland.
Incredicoaster
Incredicoaster debuted on June 23, 2018. It used to be called California Screamin’, but was redone to have an Incredibles theme. It’s the fastest ride at Disneyland at 55 mph.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! opened its doors on May 27, 2017. It was previously Tower of Terror.
Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters
Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters opened in Cars Land on March 7, 2016. It was the last of the 3 Cars Land attractions to open.
Radiator Springs Racers
Radiator Springs Racers opened June 15, 2012, the same day that Cars Land opened. It’s a really fun thrill ride. You can see all of the best thrill rides at Disneyland here.
Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree in Cars Land also opened on June 15, 2012. It’s a cute ride for little ones who aren’t tall enough for Radiator Springs Racers yet.
