The Disneyland Resort has two theme parks- Disneyland and California Adventure. There is a wide variety of styles of rides. There’s something special about water rides, whether you’re getting wet or taking a boat ride around. These are all of the water rides at Disneyland. Add them to your list to go on next time you’re there.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is one of the only water rides at Disneyland where you get wet. This Critter Country ride used to be Splash Mountain. It’s a log flume ride that drops 50 feet and splashes you pretty good.
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Storybook Land Canal boats is a cute boat ride in Fantasyland in Disneyland. You’ll board your boat and have a guided tour down the water while you see the castle of the princesses.
Jungle Cruise
The Jungle Cruise is one of the most classic water rides in Disneyland. It’s located in Adventureland and is so fun to go on. You’ll take a boat ride down the river with a Skipper who will give you a guided tour and make lots of funny jokes. This was an opening day attraction at Disneyland. It’s A Small World
It’s A Small World is in Fantasyland in Disneyland. It’s a long water boat ride that is so leisurely. Make sure to look for Disney characters throughout the ride that were added a few years back. You can see all the Disney characters on the ride here.
Grizzly River Run
Grizzly River Run is at California Adventure. It’s a river rapids ride that you get very wet on. You might want to wait till the end of the day to ride it so you aren’t wearing wet clothes all day.
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is an underwater submarine ride in Tomorrowland in Disneyland. It used to be called Submarine Voyage before it was redone with the Finding Nemo theme.
Pirates of the Caribbean
Pirates of the Caribbean is a water boat ride. You don’t get very wet on this ride, but might get splashed a little, especially if you’re in the front row. At the beginning of the ride there are 2 small drops that splash a little.
Mark Twain Riverboat
Mark Twain Riverboat cruises down the Rivers of America in Disneyland. This is one of the longest rides at Disneyland at 14 minutes long. You can see the other longest rides at Disneyland here.
Sailing Ship Columbia
Sailing Ship Columbia is another boat ride on the Rivers of America in Disneyland. It’s located in Frontierland and is a full scale model of the Columbia Rediviva ship.
Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes
Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes are another water ride on the Rivers of America. You’ll paddle around Tom Sawyer’s Island.
