Have you ever heard of hidden Mickeys? Imagineers added tons of Mickeys throughout the Disney parks.
Most of them are small and not easy to spot. It definitely helps if you know where to look, so that’s where we come in.
In this article I’m going to show you some of my favorite hidden Mickeys on Main Street, USA in Disneyland. I’ll tell you exactly where to find them.
Save this post for your next trip so you can find them and impress your group by pointing them out
1. Hotel Marceline
This might just be the smallest hidden Mickey in all of Disneyland! It’s seriously so little and cute. There’s actually 3 of them here, they’re all the same though.
You’ll want to head down Main Street and take a right turn when you get to Market House (aka Starbucks). Go down the street a little more and just before the lockers you’ll find Hotel Marceline.
Look in the display window and there are some shelves with a cow, milk bottles, and a few other things.
Take a close look at the cows on the milk bottles and an even closer look at their spots. These are not ordinary cow spots. As you can see in the pictures there is a Mickey with the cow spots.
2. Main Street Magic Shop Window
After you enter Disneyland, the Main Street Magic Shop will be on the ride side of Main Street.
Take a look at the window outside the shop and look closely at what’s in there. There are some cards fanned out on top of a book.
The top card is an Ace, and it has clovers under the A. but it doesn’t have a clover in the middle of the card. Instead of having a clover, you’ll find little ole Mickey Mouse!
There is another of this same card on the ceiling inside the magic shop.
3. Main Street Magic Shop Display Case
After you find the hidden Mickey in the window, go inside the magic shop to find another cool hidden Mickey.
There’s a display case in there with all kinds of cards and things for magic tricks.
When you get a little closer to the register you’ll see a rope that is laid out in the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head with two ears on it.
I love how this hidden Mickey is kind of subtle, but there’s no question whether it’s a hidden Mickey or not.
4. Emporium
The Emporium is on the left side of Main Street. It’s a really big gift shop with all kinds of cool things and fun souvenirs.
Did you know there’s a really unique and not well-known hidden Mickey in here?
Go towards the back of this big gift shop and find the toy room section that has a train going around the top.
You might have to watch the train go around a few times as this hidden Mickey only appears every 3 times the train goes around.
In one of the corners there is a water tower. When the train goes by the water tower it stops every third time and a little Mickey head lights up on the water tower.
5. Gibson Girl
Gibson Girl is the ice cream shop on the left side of Main Street, towards the end of the street.
This hidden Mickey can be seen without even going into the ice cream shop. You’ll want to look at the signs on the windows from outside the ice cream parlor.
The first windows says Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor. Pass this and take a look at the window that says ice cream floats.
Floats is in white and purple lettering with some spots on the letters. Look very closely at the letter A in Floats and you’ll see this hidden Mickey.
6. Main Street Cinema
The Main Street Cinema is on the right side of Main Street. It’s a little indoor room where you can sit and watch old Disney cartoons of Mickey Mouse, like Steamboat Willie.
This is a great place to cool off on a hot day, get out of the rain, or just let your little ones play and watch a show for a bit.
On our last Disneyland trip we were in here cooling off from the heat and feeding our baby when we noticed some hidden Mickeys.
There is a little raised area in the middle for kids to go up onto and there are 3 stairs up to it. Each step has 2 lights on it.
The cool thing about these lights is that they are each Mickey shaped, making them hidden Mickeys.
