If you have a Disneyland vacation planned this summer, then you’ll want to know about all of these expected Disneyland closures for summer 2025. These include closures at Disneyland, California Adventure, and the Disney hotels.
Pixie Hollow
Pixie Hollow is where you can meet Tinker Bell and her fairy friends in Fantasylandy in Disneyland. It closed last fall and is still closed with no reopening date.
Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln
Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln is closed and being redone to an all new show. It will reopen on Disneyland’s 70th birthday, July 17th. The new show will be Walt Disney – A Magical Life and feature an audio animatronic of Walt Disney.
Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room closed at the end of April for refurbishment. It does not have a reopening date. It will be closed for at least part of summer, but hopefully not the whole summer since this is a nice place to cool down.
Napa Rose
Napa Rose is a restaurant in The Grand Californian Hotel. It is where you can do the Disney Princess Adventures Breakfast. It will be closed until sometime this fall.
Matterhorn Bobsleds
Matterhorn Bobsleds is currently closed and it is unknown when this ride will reopen. It will most likely be open sometime this fall. This roller coaster is located in Fantasyland in Disneyland. It is not in any other Disney park in the world. See more rides that are not at any other Disney parks here.
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GadgetCOASTER
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GadgetCOASTER closed in May for a pretty quick refurbishment. It is expected to reopen on June 13th, so it will still be open for most of the summer.
Pixar Place Hotel Pool Deck
Pixar Place Pool Deck is closed and will be for at least some of the summer. Guests of this hotel are able to use the pools at the other Disney hotels during this time.
Walkway Between Avengers Campus and Cars Land
The walkway that takes you between Avengers Campus and Cars Land is currently closed and it is unknown how long it will be closed for. This is part of the area where they are doing construction to expand Avengers Campus and add new rides. See the new rides coming to Disney parks here.
Pixar Place Hotel Theme Park Entrance
Pixar Place Hotel guests have access to a private theme park entrance for Disney California Adventure park. This entrance is currently closed, so they will have to use the normal entrance to the park for a while. Hopefully this will not be closed all summer though.
Haunted Mansion
The dates for the Haunted Mansion closure have not yet been announced, but you can expect it to close for a short time at the end of July or beginning of August. This closure comes yearly so they can change the ride to Haunted Mansion Holiday where the ride has a Nightmare Before Christmas overlay.
