If you’ll be going to Disney World in September 2024, then you’re most likely doing a lot of research and planning before your trip.
You’ll definitely want to be aware of all the attractions that will be closed for part or all of the month of September.
Thankfully there are not set to be a lot of closures for the month of September. It’s frustrating when you have a trip planned and find out a lot of attractions will be closed, especially your favorite one.
This article has the full list of Disney World ride closures for September 2024. Take notes so you know which ones will be closed before you go and you can plan your days around the closures.
Jungle Cruise
The Jungle Cruise is a Magic Kingdom attraction. It closed August 26th and does not have an opening date.
It is rumored that it will only be closing for a few weeks and will be open before the Christmas season.
During Christmastime it becomes the Jingle Cruise, so it’s possible it might just come back as that when it opens again.
Test Track
Test Track closed on June 17, 2024 and remains closed currently. Test Track is located in EPCOT in Walt Disney World.
It is going through a very big refurbishment right now. There is no opening date for this ride, but it will definitely stay closed through September.
Blizzard Beach
Blizzard Beach is one of the two water parks at Walt Disney World. It is closed for refurbishment and it will open back up in November 2024.
If you’re needing to cool off and get your water park fix, you’ll have to go to Disney World’s other water park, which is Typhoon Lagoon.
Just a heads up, Typhoon Lagoon will be closing in November 2024. In recent years, the two water parks have switched off which one is open and which one is closed, meaning they are not both open at the same time.
Hopefully we can just have both water parks open at the same time again one day soon.
