These are the closures at Walt Disney World in March 2026. They are subject to change.
Rock n Roller Coaster
Rock n Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is going to permanently close on March 2nd. The last day to ride it is March 1st. It will reopen this summer as Rock n Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
Typhoon Lagoon
Typhoon Lagoon closed February 15th. It will reopen on May 12th and remain open through September 8th.
Walt Disney World Railroad Frontierland Station
The Frontierland station of the Walt Disney World Railroad is currently closed because of the construction in Frontierland. It is still running between Main Street, USA and Fantasyland.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin closed in August for some big upgrades. It will reopen sometime this spring.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has been closed since January 2025. It will reopen sometime in the spring of 2026.
Wildlife Express
The Wildlife Express is closing on February 23rd temporarily. It is closed while they work on getting ready for the new Bluey experience.
Affection Section
Affection Section is also closing February 23rd temporarily while they setup the new Bluey area.
Animation Courtyard
Animation Courtyard closed in 2025 and is getting a big rehaul. It will open in the late summer of 2026 as The Walt Disney Studios.
