Disney parks are known for their family friendly attractions, but there are Disney parks around the world that are much more intense than others. These are all of the Disney rides that go upside down. Only two of them are in the United States. If you don’t like rides that go upside down, then skip these, but add them to your bucket list if you’re a thrill seeker.
Incredicoaster
Incredicoaster is in California Adventure park. It’s the only ride at the Disneyland Resort in California Adventure that goes upside down. It’s also the fastest ride there with a top speed of 55 mph.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is located in Hollywood Studios in Disney World in Florida. This is the only ride at Walt Disney World that has upside down sections. It’s very fast and intense.
Indiana Jones and the Temple du Péril
Indiana Jones and the Temple Du Peril (aka the Temple of Peril) is in Disneyland Paris in France. It’s located in Adventureland. This is a roller coaster that goes upside down. It is much different than the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland in California.
Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain
Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain is a dark roller coaster that goes upside down. It is located in Disneyland Paris. Space Mountain in Disneyland California and Walt Disney World in Florida do not go upside down.
Avengers Assemble: Flight Force
Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is an Avengers themed roller coaster in Disneyland Paris. Disneyland Paris has more upside down coasters than any other Disney Resort. This ride used to be Rock ‘n Roller Coaster, but was rethemed and opened in 2022.
Raging Spirits
Raging Spirits is the only Disney ride with an upside down section in all of the Asia Disney parks. This one is located in Tokyo DisneySea park at the Tokyo Disneyland Resort.
