These are the changes coming to The Disneyland Resort in May 2026. It’s good to know about them to plan your trip.
New Smuggler’s Run Mission
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run is getting a new mission with The Mandalorian & Grogu starting 5/22.
Star Wars Nite
Star Wars Nite will be on May 4th and May 6th. This is a separate ticketed event. Disneyland will close at 8pm on the nights of the event.
Kids Ticket Offer Starts
There is a kids ticket offer starting on May 22nd. Kids tickets are $50 per person and they are park hoppers. This is for guests ages 3-9.
Ride Closures
These are the ride closures at Disneyland in May. Pirates of the Caribbean is closing 5/4, Toy Story Midway Mania is closed with no reopening date, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is closed with no reopening date, Jungle Cruise is closed and does not have a reopening date, Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin is closed with no reopening date, Disneyland Monorail is closed and there is no reopening date, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind has no reopening date, and Silly Symphony Swings is closing 4/27.
Other Closures
The other closures at Disneyland in May are Pixie Hollow closed Tuesdays & Thursdays, Blue Bayou is closed 5/4-20, and the walkway between Cars Land & Avengers Campus is closed due to construction on the Avengers Campus expansion.
Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is Sunday May 10th. Disneyland gives out free carnation flowers on Main Street for moms and they do some special Mother’s Day character dining that you can get reservations for.
Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day weekend is May 23rd through 25th. You can expect an increase in crowds for that weekend.
