Disneyland and California Adventure are known for their magical vibes and thrilling rides. If you don’t want to go on any attractions that are intense, then it’s good to do some research before you go and decide what you want to ride. These are the calm Disneyland rides that you should consider going on.
Peter Pan’s Flight
Peter Pan’s Flight is in Fantasyland in Disneyland. Your ride vehicle is a ship. You board it and fly around London and Neverland through the scenes from the Peter Pan movie. This ride is really calm. It does not go fast or have drops or anything crazy.
Monster’s, Inc. Mike & Sulley To The Rescue
Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue is a really cute and fun ride in California Adventure. It is slow and does not go uphill or downhill.
It’s A Small World

Storybook Land Canal Boats
Storybook Land Canal Boats might just be the calmest ride in all of Disneyland. You get on a boat and sail down the water while looking at miniature versions of Disney princess’ castles. This ride is absolutely beautiful at dusk when the lights are on.
Casey Jr. Circus Train
Casey Jr. Circus Train is a nice, relaxing train ride in Fantasyland that is intertwined with Storybook Land Canal Boats and goes around the same areas.
King Arthur Carrousel
King Arthur Carrousel is a classic merry-go-round attraction in Fantasyland. It’s calm and plays cute music.
Jessie’s Critter Carousel
Jessie’s Critter Carousel is another merry-go-round, but this one is on Pixar Pier in California Adventure park.
The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure
The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure is a slow-moving ride in California Adventure. Towards the beginning your ride vehicles turns backwards and goes downhill a little, but this is not fast or intense at all.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant

The Disneyland Railroad is a calm train ride that is perfect for giving your feet a break and relaxing a little. There are railroad stations all throughout the park.
