These are the changes to know about at The Disneyland Resort in April 2026.
Galaxy’s Edge is Changing
The Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Timeline is changing to the first trilogy of movies. The land will now have Darth Vader, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Luke Skywalker walking around.
Kylo Ren is Moving
Kylo Ren is moving from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland.
Star Wars Nite
Star Wars Nite will be in Disneyland on 4/28 & 4/30. Disneyland will close at 8pm.
Disney Channel Nite
Disney Channel Nite is April 12th, 14th, 16th. Disneyland will close at 8pm.
Hyperspace Mountain Returns
Space Mountain will change to Hyperspace Mountain on April 28th. This is where is has a Star Wars theme.
Food & Wine Festival Ends
The California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is ending on April 27th.
Easter
Easter is Sunday April 5th. You can expect an increase in crowds for the holiday.
Eggstravaganza Ends
Eggstravaganza at The Disneyland Resort will end on April 6th.
Earth Day Celebration
Disneyland’s Earth Day celebration will be on April 20th. Wall-e usually makes a special appearance at Pixar Place Hotel.
Ride Closures
Ride closures for April are Jungle Cruise reopening date TBA, The Disneyland Monorail closing 3/30, Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin closing 3/30, Toy Story Midway Mania closing 4/6, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters closing 4/13, and Silly Symphony Swings closing 4/27.
Other Closures
The walkway that goes between Cars Land and Avengers Campus is currently closed due to construction on the Avengers Campus expansion. Also, Pixie Hollow is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
