Disneyland just released their schedule for when you can get their handmade candy canes in 2026. These are highly sought after and popular.
Disneyland does not make them everyday and they make them in very limited batches.
You can get them on select days in Disneyland park and on select days in California Adventure park.
These are beautiful red, white, and green candy canes that are very large. They are peppermint flavored.
Disneyland 2026 Candy Cane Schedule
These candy canes are only available during the holiday season and not everyday.
You can buy them at Candy Palace in Disneyland Park and at Trolley Treats in California Adventure park.
Candy Palace Dates:
- November 27 & 30
- December 2, 7, 9, 14th, 16, 22, 24, 25
Trolley Treats Dates:
- November 28 & 29
- December 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 24
Candy canes will be available at one per person. There are no exchanges and no refunds. Also, no discounts can be applied to candy cane purchases.
How To Get Candy Canes
Unfortunately, it is not just as simple as showing up and buying a candy cane. There is a process that you should know before going.
There is a sign in the window of each candy shop with the dates and it has other info on it too.
It explains that they will be using wristbands for candy cane purchases. They are not available for mobile order.
There will be a limited number of candy canes available each day. There is a limit of one candy cane per guest per day.
To get the candy canes you will need to go at rope drop time. So get to the park at least 30 minutes before the posted opening time and instead of rope dropping rides, go get your candy cane wristband. If you want even better chances, get to the park and lineup outside the gates 60 minutes before the posted opening time for the park.
You will go to the candy shop and get in line for your wristband. Everyone in your party who wants a candy cane has to be there to get their own wristband.
Your wristband will tell you what time to come back. Go back at that time (or even a little bit early) and get in line again to actually buy your candy cane.
In 2025 the candy canes were $24 each. Disneyland has not said yet how much they will cost this year, but I would expect a little increase in price.
Why Are Disneyland Candy Canes Special?
Every time I post about Disneyland candy canes people ask what makes them so special and if they are worth the cost.
These candy canes are completely handmade. They are not pulled and made by machines, like most candy canes you can get these days.
Some fans love the taste and how fresh they are, unlike premade candy canes in the stores.
There is also a lot of history and tradition behind these candy canes. Disneyland has been making them every holiday season since 1968. They have been making them for 58 years!
So this isn’t just a candy cane, it’s a piece of Disneyland history too.
