Disneyland and Disney World have a lot of similar rides, but they also have a lot of unique rides. This list has rides at Disneyland that aren’t at Disney World, so if you want to go on any of them you’ll need to plan a trip to Disneyland in California.
Matterhorn Bobsleds
Matterhorn Bobsleds is a ride that is unique to Disneyland in California. This is also the tallest structure in Disneyland park.
Indiana Jones Adventure
Indiana Jones Adventure is a thrill ride in Adventureland. It is based on the Indiana Jones movies and is so much fun to go on. It has been announced that Disney World will be getting an Indiana Jones ride at some point, but it will be different than this one.
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Storybook Land Canal boats is an opening day attraction that is only at Disneyland and not in Florida at Disney World.
Casey Jr. Circus Train
Casey Jr. Circus Train is another Fantasyland ride that is only at Disneyland. It is kind of intertwined with Storybook Land Canal boats, so it’s not surprising that Disney World doesn’t have either.
Radiator Springs Racers
Radiator Springs Racers is a ride in Cars Land in California Adventure. This is the only park that has this ride. Magic Kingdom is going to be getting some Cars rides, but they are not getting this one.
Alice In Wonderland
Alice In Wonderland is a cute Fantasyland ride based on the movie that you can go on in Disneyland. Magic Kingdom in Disney World does not have this ride, but they do have the other Alice in Wonderland ride called Mad Tea Party.
Incredicoaster
Incredicoaster is a ride that is unique to California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort. It used to be California Screamin and was reimagined to have an Incredibles theme.
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage in an attraction in Tomorrowland in Disneyland. You cannot find this ride in Disney World.
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster is a fun little roller coaster in Toontown in Disneyland. Disney World does not have this ride and they also do not have Toontown.
Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin
Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin is another Toontown ride that is not in Florida. The other ride in Toontown is Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and you can find that one in Hollywood Studios in Disney World.
Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley To The Rescue
Monster’s, Inc Mike & Sulley To The Rescue is an attraction in California Adventure. Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World will be getting a whole Monsters, Inc Land, but it will not have this specific ride.
Pinocchio’s Daring Journey
Pinocchio’s Daring Journey is a Fantasyland ride that opened in Disneyland in 1983. This ride is also in Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, but it is not in Disney World.
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is another Fantasyland ride at Disneyland. Disney World used to have this ride in Magic Kingdom from 1971 to 1998. It was then closed and turned into The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Guardians Of The Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
Guardians Of The Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is only in California Adventure park at Disneyland. It used to be Tower of Terror. Disney World does have Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios though.
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind is a cute ride on Pixar Pier in California Adventure. Disney World does not have any Inside Out rides.
Snow White’s Enchanted Wish
Snow White’s Enchanted Wish is a Fantasyland attraction that is at Disneyland in California, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland. Disney World does not have this ride, but they do have Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Golden Zephyr
The only Disney park that has the Golden Zephyr is California Adventure park.
Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters
Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters is a Pixar Cars themed ride in Cars Land. It is a trackless ride that has dancing cars and fun music.
Goofy’s Sky School
Goofy’s Sky School is a wild mouse roller coaster in California Adventure park and not in any of the Disney World parks.
Jumpin’ Jellyfish
Jumpin’ Jellyfish is another attraction that is only at California Adventure. Its name comes from a line in The Little Mermaid where Sebastian says “Jumpin jellyfish!”
Pixar Pal-A-Round
Pixar Pal-A-Round is the big Ferris wheel at Disney California Adventure Park that has a big Mickey Mouse on it.
Silly Symphony Swings
Silly Symphony Swings is another ride that can only be found at California Adventure. Disney World does not have a swings ride like this.
Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree is a one-of-a-kind ride that is only in Cars Land in California Adventure. It is very similar to Alien Swirling Saucers in Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios in Florida.
Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure
Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure is a ride that is located in Avengers Campus in California Adventure.
Grizzly River Run
Grizzly River Run is only in California Adventure park. Animal Kingdom in Disney World does have Kali River Rapids though.
Jessie’s Critter Carousel
Jessie’s Critter Carousel is a cute and fun Carousel ride on Pixar Pier in California Adventure. Toy Story Land in Disney World does not have this ride.
